Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi ture

We had a wonderful experience on this heritage tour. The itinerary included Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi, Hock Teik Cheng Sin Temple, Pinang Peranakan Mansion, and Chew Jetty, giving us a great introduction to George Town's rich history and culture. Our guide, Teh, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about each site, especially the Pinang Peranakan Mansion, where we learned so much about the lifestyle and culture of wealthy Peranakan families during the late 1800s and early 1900s. His storytelling made the history come alive. He also went the extra mile by providing bottled water for everyone, and when it started raining, he immediately handed out umbrellas so we could continue the tour comfortably. If you're visiting Penang and want to gain a deeper appreciation of its heritage, I highly recommend this tour—and if you're lucky enough to have Teh as your guide, you're in for an informative and enjoyable experience.

Fremragende privat tur. Rejseplanen kunne tilpasses. Dækkede mange steder i bil. Spiste laksa, boller, karrypuffer, kokosnød og msw durian. Særlig omtale til Wong Durian House, som er et must for durian-elskere. Besøgte et lokalt hawker-center, Penang Hill (med vertikal sporvogn) og Lotus hypermarked.

Dette var en så dejlig tid, en omhyggeligt sammensat tur af vores fantastiske guide Garrick. Det var en fornøjelse at lære om George Town og Penang fra en lokal madelskers perspektiv, al maden var fantastisk, kan varmt anbefale denne tur.

It was convinient, guide was good and overall nice experience. It was really hot when we went and the convince of your own transport was helpful.Pengang hill was nice and with express train pass there was hardly any waiting time.

This trip to penang hill was an absolute joy especially because of our tour guide LEE WEI.. would definitely recommend tourists to opt for him as he was extremely polite hospitable and patient! The entire itinerary was very well timed and planned by him! would highly recommend it 😊

Our guide Jenny was really helpful and accomodating to us as we walked through the tour. We got to experience four different cultures (British, Buddhist, Muslim and Hindu) in one tour. And the teh tarik preparation was amazing!

Book it! The guide was amazing at explaining the history of the Penang hill, the difference in Buddhist practices, local culture and temples history. I would have not appreciated the location as deeply without this explanation. definitely worth it.

We had Ken as our tourguide and she was such a nice and knowledgeable guide. Very informative tour and we learned many interesting facts and stories about Penang. Thank you also for taking us to the best samosa in town. Highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to know more about George Town beyond what meets the eye!!
