Mainly booked this tour because I wanted to visit Cape Kamui, which is not easy to reach by public transport. Seeing the famous Shakotan Blue on a clear day was absolutely worth the price and the long journey. The added bonus was getting to see the Shakotan Coast, visit Otaru, and stop at Shiroi Koibito Park all in the same day. As expected, the schedule was quite tight, but this is understandable given the long distances we had to cover and the number of places included in the itinerary. Our guide, Cici, was pleasant and helpful. However, I felt the tour could have been more informative. She provided translations in Japanese and Chinese and read the English descriptions from her notes, but there wasn't much additional interesting information or storytelling about the places we visited. A little more background, local history, or interesting facts would have made the experience more engaging.

Friendly and helpful guide who managed a multilingual group well. Clear logistics, smooth scheduling, and useful Sapporo food recommendations. Independent tour style with plenty of time to explore.

The tour was great we got to see and do everything that was in the itinerary. Our guide Rita was excellent. She had energy, was able to talk to us individually about the area we were in. Communication was good and able to do the tour in three language. Plus very knowledgeable about the items we can buy in all the different areas.

Vi havde en dejlig tur under Donghwan-guidens ledelse! Vi valgte denne tur, da vi ledte efter en tur, der inkluderede Buddha-bakken og Otaru, samt et andet sted imellem. Jeg rejste med en ven, og det var fredag den 18. september. Vejret var varmere end i Seoul, og det var en efterårsdag med stærk sol. Kortærmede T-shirts, shorts og en tynd cardigan var tilstrækkeligt. Guiden gav os en forklaring på destinationen lige inden ankomst og anbefalede også steder at besøge og spise i Otaru, hvilket var fantastisk. Hvis du overvejer denne tur, skal du blot være opmærksom på, at frokosten først er efter kl. 14.00 i Otaru!

Vi nød virkelig turen til Hell Valley, Lake Toya og Otaru. Vores turguide var meget venlig, professionel og hensynsfuld. Han forklarede detaljeret historien om Hokkaido og alle de naturskønne steder. Vi bookede tre ture via Klook. Vi må sige, at sammenlignet med andre turguider i andre turgrupper havde denne turguide fremragende sprogfærdigheder i engelsk, kinesisk og japansk. Og vi bemærkede også, at under vores tur var der kun én besøgende fra Spanien, der havde brug for engelsk tolkning. For ikke at forstyrre de andre besøgende gik han om på bagerste række, satte sig sammen med ham og tolkede for ham. Andre ting, der imponerede os meget, var de mange forskellige spilledåser og den dampende Hell Valley. Forresten, vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage til Hokkaido om vinteren igen.

I highly recommend the Klook Hokkaido day tour I recently took! The itinerary was excellent, taking us through Otaru, Cape Kamui, and finally to the Tenguyama Observatory to enjoy the sunset and night view. The scenery was so beautiful that it was hard to leave; every spot was worth visiting. The gradient blue waters of Cape Kamui were especially stunning, and watching the sunset from Tenguyama, followed by the city lights coming on, was definitely the highlight of the entire trip! The timing, from daytime to evening and then to the night view, was perfectly arranged – never feeling rushed or like time was wasted. The biggest bonus this time was our driver and guide, Mr. Wei (David). His service attitude was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. He was patient throughout the journey and provided insightful information about the attractions, making the whole trip relaxing and worry-free. He also drove very smoothly. This small group tour is truly convenient for first-time visitors to Hokkaido who want to explore several attractions in one go. I was very satisfied with the entire day's itinerary, scenery, time management, and the service of our driver and guide. It was a very pleasant and memorable day trip! I will recommend it to my friends and family in the future.

We were blessed to have Rick as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and speaks English, Chinese and Japanese fluently. The itinerary was well planned, and we had so much fun today. We also had an excellent driver, which made it easy to relax and rest on the bus between stops. If you’re climbing Cape Kamui, do wear comfortable shoes. It’s quite a climb, but the views are absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this tour, especially for first-time visitors to Hokkaido!
