Bako National Park ture

Highly educational and enjoyable tour, recommended. Easy to moderately difficult hiking, memorable photos. Malindo from Ooo Haa Adventure Tours was a very humorous guide & speaks fluent English. He fetched us from our hotel near Waterfront at 7.30am. [Btw, he can also pick up from airport but additional charge may apply. Can leave luggages in his van.] Our tour was flexible as the group only consists of 5 people. We didn’t manage to see any Proboscis monkey but we spotted many other wild life and plants. We even had a nibbling fish experience. Buffet lunch by only canteen was just edible. This Klook deal is cheaper than elsewhere, even after we include any additional tips for an additional one-way boat ride to skip return trip of a difficult trail (MYR50 for whole boat, can share) and for the guide as we liked his service. The additional boat ride brought us to coastal walks which we otherwise won’t explore via trails, so it’s worth. At low tide, take off shoes & wade to board boat.

Our guide, Din (spelling questionable) was outstanding and really helped us have the best experience possible. He was so knowledgeable and well prepared in every facet of the tour. We saw a great variety of flora and fauna as well as learned about the environment and culture of the local people. The accommodations and food at the park are not fancy but they are comfortable and adequate. The park should screen in the back bathroom area of the cabins. Our trip to Bako was the pinnacle of our experience in Sarawak.

Ian, vores turguide, var meget informativ, cool og imødekommende. Han sørgede altid for, at man ikke følte sig alene i gruppen. Han fik dig til at føle, at du hørte til. Han gav os konstant historien om stedet. Denne tur er et MUST på din liste. At komme væk fra byen og mærke det kølige vejr. Mount Kota var betagende. Hængebroen var fantastisk, og det samme var Desa Dairy Farm. Vi ville gerne besøge caféen på Desa Farm, men vi havde ikke meget tid.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Bongawan River Cruise, Sabah Amazing experience from start to finish. We were lucky enough to spot both long-nosed monkeys and long-tailed monkeys along the river, which made the cruise even more exciting 🐒🌿 The scenery was beautiful throughout the journey, especially the beach stop with its peaceful, open views. The sunset was absolutely stunning, with the sky turning golden over the river 🌅 The highlight for me was definitely the fireflies at night. The mangroves lit up like a dream, and one firefly even landed on my hand — such a magical moment ✨ Big shoutout to our guides Gary, Edward, and Kevin for being friendly, helpful, and making the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. If you’re in Sabah, this is definitely a must-do activity. Relaxing, beautiful, and unforgettable.

Elskede turen. Den var dejlig og afslappet. Vores guide/bådfører var meget venlig, fortalte historier og tog billeder af gæsterne. Det eneste, jeg gerne vil nævne, er at tænke dig om en ekstra gang med hensyn til den inkluderede frokost – den er bestemt ikke pengene værd. Frokosten serveres ved det sidste stop, hvor der er en lille café, hvor man kan købe sodavand. Du kan overveje at medbringe nogle snacks eller blot vente til turen er slut.

Malacca is a beautiful city with plenty to see and explore. However, it is very hot and humid, so make sure to bring a bottle of water and an umbrella to stay comfortable. We arrived in Malacca about an hour later than the scheduled itinerary, but overall the trip was still enjoyable. The tour guide was knowledgeable and shared useful information throughout the journey, which made the experience worthwhile.

Great experience going to mataking and pom pom island. Couldn't stop at timba timba Island due to government restrictions, however we stopped over in an area to snorkel. The guide was very helpful taking photos for us, we saw many sea turtles yesterday and tropical fishes with beautiful coral reefs. Got to see a lion fish as well. We had a great once in a lifetime experience. Would recommend this tour!

Vejret var virkelig dårligt med tordenvejr og lyn. Vi troede, at vi ikke ville kunne se dyrene på denne tur. Men vores turguide, hr. Hamdini, er meget erfaren og vidende om, hvor man finder næseaben. Da det regnede, gik han ud for at spejde efter dyrene, mens han holdt os i sikkerhed i læ. Da han fandt aberne, kom han og tog os med til stedet. Det lykkedes os at se et par grupper af næseaber, både hanner, hunner og unger. Vi så også skægget svin og flyvende lemur. Tommel op for vores guide, hr. Hamdini.
