Turen til Borobudur og Prambanan-templerne var yderst tilfredsstillende. Selvom statens entrépris er høj, er bevarelsen, restaureringen og vedligeholdelsen værdig for et verdensarvssted, og transporten rundt i parken samt guidens omhyggelige forklaringer levede fuldt op til prisen. PRAS, som forklarede om Borobudur, talte flydende japansk og fortalte, at kejserfamilien havde besøgt stedet, og at det blev istandsat af JICA med japansk ODA-bistand. Hans forklaringer om historien og reliefferne var også fremragende. Frokosten blev spist på en dejlig restaurant på vej til Prambanan. Da temperaturen var høj i løbet af dagen, og vi var blevet rigeligt trætte ved Borobudur om formtiden, afsluttede vi besøget ved Prambanan ved kun at se de vigtigste seværdigheder. Vores chauffør, Romy, var en ung mand, der elskede japansk anime, var nem at snakke med og havde en underholdende samtale, der gjorde den lange køretur spændende. Han var også god til at tage billeder og tog nogle fantastiske fotos. En stærkt anbefalet tur.

it's considerably more expensive than if you were to organize yourself, BUT, I think it's worth it. My driver Adit was very helpful, and punctual. He also very friendly and provided me with a lot of information. The trip was smooth, he helped handle all the tickets, processes. The car was spacious , clean and had bottled water and tissue ready. I got to cover 2 temple complexes within a morning. I would recommend to someone wanting to travel without fuse, save energy for exploring and wants something time-efficient and safe.

Our guide, Dian, was truly amazing! We hit it off right away. He answered our questions without hesitation and guided us very well along the routes, even when he wasn't present during the actual visits. He didn't hesitate to introduce us to little extra sights and let us taste local products. The places he recommended for breakfast and lunch were fantastic! As for the itinerary: we couldn't enjoy the sunrise because of the clouds, but the setting was still quite pretty and relaxing. Regarding the Borobudur Temple, everything was very well organized, complete with a guide. The site is beautiful! As for the second Hindu temple, we couldn't see everything because we only had 2 hours, but the site is very large and we were approached by charming students on numerous occasions! The temples are magnificent. During the trip, water was handed out to us several times, and there was air conditioning in the car. Thank you, Dian!

The Borobudur sunrise tour was truly amazing, and our guide Wahyu made it even better -he arrived an hour early, kept perfect time, and gave insightful explanations throughout. ***Now about the Borobudur: The temple itself is breathtaking, though we were a bit disappointed to see some visitors sitting on the ancient structure despite the guide clearly stating it's not allowed. Given that it's a UNESCO-protected site, we feel more staff should be stationed at the top to gently enforce these simple rules. Also, the free time felt quite rushed one hour wasn't quite enough to fully take in the grandeur of the place.

I have booked this Solo Trip via Klook. But really had a nice time enjoying and exploring the various history of Merapi. Really mesmerizing. Both the Car and Jeep Drivers were nice. Very professional and genuine.

Beautiful sunrise from the Merapi mountain and Borobudur is a must-visit in Yogyakarta. Just a bit pity that we couldn’t clearly see the Merapi volcano during the Jeep tour because the sky was too cloudy.
