Booking this tour was worth it. Instead of doing this DIY, this brought together all scenic spots in Luang Prabang in one trip. our guides Pong and Tay were very accommodating. Tay in particular was very friendly and demonstrated his excellent English communications skills. Both shared a lot of stories which made the trip very worthwhile. Must recommend!

If you want to create wonderful memories in Luang Prabang, book this Sunset Mekong River tour - highly recommended! Hospitable staff, beautiful landscapes everywhere, and entertainment on the cruise is world class!

Hvis du er i Luang Prabang, er dette et show, du virkelig bør tage ind og se. Jeg var meget imponeret over sceneshowet, og jeg kan varmt anbefale det til folk, der vil bruge et par timer om aftenen.

En STOR tak til vores guide Duang og assistent Phone (Wonderful Tours Lao) for deres hjælp, da vi var ude at sejle i kajak. Selvom jeg har prøvet det før, havde min partner ikke. Vi kæntrede en gang og sakkede bagud i forhold til gruppen. Jeg tog over til Duangs kajak, og Phone kom til vores, hvorefter vi fortsatte meget hurtigere. Deres hurtige tænkning sikrede alles sikkerhed. Ziplinen blev også udført professionelt og med fokus på sikkerhed. Kan varmt anbefales!

amazing experience, theeeeee most unprofessional tourguide today. he didn’t talk us through the cave, he was walking super fast and also just dumped us at the lagoon and didn’t say anything to us. he only communicated with people who understood the local language. The place waa nice, as tourists we helped eachother out and loved the overall experience but the tour guide was extremely unprofessional.

The meeting point was easy to find, right in front of the restaurant, and we were told to wait inside the restaurant if we arrived a little early. Before departure, there was a complimentary drink service, so I ordered a Lao beer. Since there were only four participants in total for the cruise, we were able to enjoy a leisurely one-hour cruise. The price was also reasonable, and I think it's a good idea to book in advance.

Hot air ballooning in Vang Vieng was one of the best experiences of my Laos trip. Seeing the limestone mountains, green countryside and Nam Song River from above was unforgettable. The entire experience was well organised, and the pilot was calm, confident and clearly very experienced. We were promised a 30-minute flight, but we stayed in the air even longer, which made it feel even more worthwhile. I felt safe throughout the flight, and everything was handled smoothly from start to finish. A genuinely memorable experience and one I would strongly recommend in Vang Vieng.

Mr Khen gave a lot of important information about the places visited and showed us the highlights of Luang Prabang including the morning market, the royal museum, temple and the falls. The lunch was very good. It is a very good tour. Khop chai lai lai Mr Khen!

the only bad thing i have to say about this is i paid extra for the cruise including a performance, but they told me since it was low season, they didn’t have enough people to do that one. but when we were on the river, i saw another boat passing by that was doing the performance with a full boat 😭 so basically i paid extra for something i didn’t receive and felt i got ripped off a little bit since they were in fact doing a performance cruise with enough people. other than that, i had an amazing time! we had many interactive experiences like releasing fish, writing down our burdens & wishes, & getting a blessed bracelet. so cool!

I had a lovely day visiting the sights in and around Vientiane. Jik drove confidently and carefully and was able to answer all my questions about life in Laos. She also wetted my appetite with suggestions as to places I should visit on my next trip here. I would definitely give a 5 star recommendation!
