Ting at lave i Chengdu

It was a very nice exprecience! By the time we got there (~9:00-9:15), many pandas very sleeping with probably a full belly, but still, you could see them moving and looking towards you, they were super cute! The nature is amazing around the park, which gives another meaning to the park besides the pandas, so its not only a panda park in my opinion. We went on Sunday, so there were many people, but still an acceptable amount, it wasn’t frustrating! Try it yourself!:)

Stor, pragtfuld og ret moderne park. Kan til fods klares på omkring 3-4 timer fra den ene ende til den anden. Der er masser af forskellige pandaer at se og et udvalg af spisesteder. Man scanner bare sit pas ved indgangen og går ind.

Agency will buy the 2 ways tickets for the high speed train and Entrance (included) but the bus inside the compound is sold separately (agency will buy first and you need to pay them later). A 5A-rated tourist attraction and truly a paradise on Earth! With crystal-clear lakes, colourful mountains, and breathtaking scenery, every corner feels like a dream. A beautiful masterpiece of nature! 🍁🏔️💙

transport was provided from hotel to meeting point before proceeding to Bipenggou. Driver is safe and professional. Bipenggou is worth a visit for those who can take altitude of 3800m despite the long bus ride. it is not very crowded and gives a lot of personal space for reflection at 3800m.

must see for fans of 三国 history. need to exchange for tickets using your ID or passport at the ticketing counter. very crowded during the May Day holidays

En fuldstændig vellykket udflugt, hvor det tidlige opvågning bestemt var det værd. Transporten til Den Store Buddha var meget afslappende takket være de komfortable XXL-loungestole i bussen, så man kunne sove lidt på turen. Efter en imponerende bådtur med udsigt til Buddhaen fortsatte vi til Emei-bjerget. Der ventede os en fremragende frokost med et udvalg af godt 10 forskellige retter. Den efterfølgende opstigning med bus og svævebane til tempelkomplekset over skyerne var simpelthen betagende. En uforglemmelig oplevelse og en klar anbefaling!

Du kan nemt komme ind med dit pas-ID. Dette gamle vandværk, bygget for 2000 år siden, er virkelig fantastisk og har gavnet mange generationer indtil i dag (det er stadig i brug). Kan varmt anbefale at få en guide. Hvis du står af ved Dujiangyan station, er der bus og turguide tilgængelig flere gange om dagen (jeg valgte en enkeltbillet med shuttlebus til 12 RMB + guide til 40 RMB).

I have to give a special shout-out to our Chinese tour guide, A Jia! We were scheduled to depart at 5 AM, and she was already waiting at the meeting point more than ten minutes early. On the bus, she had prepared oxygen, and the "travel essentials" (neck pillow, eye mask, earplugs), and she went around asking if anyone suffered from motion sickness. During the three-hour drive, she didn't stop talking, sharing legends about the four peaks of Mount Siguniang, the Jiarong Tibetan culture, the geological formation of Shuangqiao Valley, and even the principles behind the Dujiangyan irrigation system. It was ten times more engaging than anything I could have found researching online myself. The most thoughtful gesture was that she helped everyone pre-purchase their sightseeing bus tickets (70 RMB, self-paid), saving us from waiting in line. Before entering the scenic area, she even drew a tour route map, marking the best photo spots at each stop and suggesting time allocations. Although group tour guides don't enter the scenic area with us, her pre-trip explanation was more than enough for us to fully enjoy our visit.

Bipenggou is definitely worth visiting! The mountain scenery, forests, and lakes were absolutely beautiful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Our guide, Xiao Xu, was helpful and attentive, with clear communication and good explanations throughout the journey. The schedule was well planned, and the transfers between different parts of the trip were smooth. Everything felt comfortable and well organized, with no unnecessary rushing. Overall, it was a lovely day trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sichuan!
