Ting at lave i Zaanstad

The entire experience was fantastic! At Zaanse Schans, we watched the manufacturing process of Dutch wooden shoes and cheese, and even got free cheese samples. We bought plenty of souvenirs, and afterward, we enjoyed the beautiful harbor scenery and took photos with the large windmills! So many wonderful memories! The tour guide was also very thoughtful and helped every traveler take pictures. We had a brief 30-minute stop at the LEGO village, which was a small but very photogenic spot, and Zaandam is a beautiful fairytale town! Afterward, we drove to the highly anticipated Giethoorn. We had lunch first, then took a canal boat tour through the entire picturesque village, with a boatman providing commentary and the tour guide translating. The whole experience was 100% perfect! We then had some free time to walk around and take photos. It was an amazing experience, though unfortunately, time flew by, and we wished we had more!

Først og fremmest er denne tur absolut pengene værd! Der var flere stop, herunder vindmøllen, ostefabrikken, Edam, Volendam og Marken Tour. Personligt syntes jeg, at tiden i vindmølleområdet var ekstremt knap; efter et par fotoshoots havde vi knap nok tid til at besøge butikkerne. Derimod fandt jeg steder som Edam og Marken Tour lidt spild af tid, da rejselederen stoppede op og delte historiske øjeblikke i disse områder. Nogle af forklaringerne kunne have været givet under busturen for at reducere tiden i disse områder, som var ret kedelige. Volendam var et interessant område, hvor vi spiste frokost anbefalet af guiden, og her kunne der også have været afsat mere tid, men alt i alt var det stadig behageligt. Ostefabrikken havde en sød hollandsk dame, der fortalte, hvordan osten blev fremstillet, og der var et godt udvalg af oste til køb bagefter. Kan varmt anbefales.

First of all, there's two option, one with additional entry to windmill, but we didn't take that one. but besides the windmill entrance, everything is the same including Ferry trip from Marken to Volendam, which we didn't expect and that was so much Fun!! The timing for everything is also great, not too long yet not too short! Can definitely explore things there in allocated time! Also Great Guide! One thing is that you have to be precise with your timing, be punctual. Don't say ah let's just be late 1 min. NO! That's a big no, and that's very rude! The Tour says it from the very start to not tolerate late people and everyone understand the assignment! Overall Great Experience and very recommended!

Our guide Eric is amazing. He is very nice, funny, polite, and especially informative when it comes to introducing Netherlands and the places knowledge. and a great driver as well. This day trip left me with very satisfying memories. Not only did we have perfect weather, with clear blue skies and white clouds all day, but we also met an excellent tour guide, Mr. KunHao. He proactively contacted us the day before the tour, which helped us understand the meeting point in advance. Furthermore, his management of the entire itinerary, explanations, and introductions to local details were all spot-on. Finally, when we returned to the meeting point at 6 PM, he personally bid farewell to each of us at the car door. I was extremely satisfied with the entire trip and hope to have the opportunity to ask KunHao to introduce other sights in the Netherlands in the future. Thumbs up!

Our tour guide, Lei Zhen, was incredibly professional. He explained every itinerary item very clearly and had an excellent service attitude! He was also very attentive to everyone's needs, and the arrangements were seamless. His explanations of the attractions were vivid and engaging, and he introduced us to the local cultural characteristics along the way, giving us a deeper understanding of Amsterdam and its customs. The entire trip was filled with laughter and a great atmosphere! Highly recommended to everyone!

We booked the Zaanse Schans & Keukenhof day trip on Klook and loved the flexibility of the hop-on, hop-off setup — it let us explore at our own pace without feeling rushed. I personally enjoyed the windmills at Zaanse Schans, while my mom absolutely loved the beautiful flowers at Keukenhof Gardens. Both spots were stunning in their own way. Very convenient, well-organized, and perfect for a relaxed day trip. Highly recommended!
