Ting at lave i Bordeaux

Although I haven't been a wine lover for long, I'd heard a lot about Bordeaux, so I signed up for a winery tour. Despite struggling with the hotter-than-expected weather, I was glad to gain valuable experience and useful knowledge. It was especially worthwhile to taste 3-4 types of wine and see the entire process from vineyard to production. My only regret is that I didn't have enough time to explore Saint-Émilion at a leisurely pace. This seems to be due to the significant travel time, so perhaps next time I'll visit Saint-Émilion separately.

Our guide, Carol, was very kind and provided informative explanations about the wineries. We visited two wineries, both of which were quite sophisticated and distinctly different, making for an excellent comparison.

Fantastisk besøg, museet var interaktivt med mange forskellige udstillinger. Billetten inkluderede også et gratis glas vin på tagterrassen, som havde en god udsigt over byen.

Our guide's explanation that the Garonne River was never blue, but rather a lovely blonde color instead of brown, was quite amusing. (Translated via app) It was wonderful to see the city of Bordeaux from the river and pass under several bridges as we headed towards the estuary. The wine and canelés were also delicious!
