We had an amazing heli hike experience and were so fortunate to have Tyana as our guide! She was incredibly friendly, informative, and approachable throughout the entire trip. She made an effort to speak with every participant individually, constantly checked in to make sure we were doing okay, and patiently answered all our questions. Tyana shared so much interesting information about Fox Glacier, which made the experience even more memorable and meaningful. We felt very safe and well taken care of throughout the hike. All the necessary gear was provided, including waterproof pants and jackets, backpacks, hiking sticks, waterproof boots, and crampons, so we were fully prepared for the conditions. The hike itself was manageable and not overly tiring, with plenty of pit stops along the way to rest and take beautiful photos. Overall, it was such a fun and unforgettable experience, and we’re really happy to have had Tyana as our guide. Highly recommend!

Desværre var vejret dårligt, og det blev ombooket til senere på dagen. Derefter blev det igen ombooket til den næste dag. I alt 3 gange. Jeg vil foreslå en buffer på 3 dage. Den dag vi rejste, blev det solrigt dagen efter. Gik glip af arrangementet. z85 blev refunderet.

We were genuinely surprised and grateful for the complimentary room upgrade. The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The warm hospitality made us feel so welcome, and it was the perfect base for exploring Franz Josef. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Punga Grove Motel to anyone visiting the area!

Had a lovely day out with our guide John, who entertained us the whole way with his tales and humour. Do note that this is the version of the tour without the TranzAlpine railway, and they will combine both tour groups. You can still get on the train with their help, but it’s cheaper to just get the train package tour from the start. John helped to sort us out and the ride was definitely worth it!

From the moment, I was picked up at my hotel accommodation to the trip it was nothing but amazing. The tour driver was very knowledgeable and very ethusiastic during the trip. All of our itinerary and tourist spots were ticked off. I highly recommend to do this Tranzalpine tour from Christchurch to Arthur's Pass. It was my first time in Christchurch and I fell in love with the place. Castle Hill, Otira Viaduct and Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall is a must see + we get to see a Kea bird. I would surely come back next time.

Fantastic 2 day tour. You will get a chance to see lakes , Glaciers , Birds and more. Really one shouls try this.

What an incredible experience. Scott is such a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and cheerful. The hike was around 1.5 hour with lots of time stopping for pictures, so it was not as physically demanding as expected. The glacier is truly mesmerising, it is one of the best memories I have made in NZ!
