Best Western Plus At Lake Powell

Great spot in the heart of the city. 10 mins from the horseshoe bend. Room was nice and clean. Just two blocks from Safeway and many great restaurants. The hot tub was open for 3 days of our stay and for rest of the days was under maintenance. The tub is great and one can see the sunset colors in the sky from it.

Easy to parking. Easy to go activety.

Good room! They have some ice machine.

We travelled from Virginia, flying into Phoenix and then launching to a number of places from Page. Overall it was an amazing trip and the hotel and staff were accommodating and good. Great breakfast, it was clean, and a great location! There were a few small things that would’ve made it better and one big concern. Big thing first… we booked the Best Western Plus Lake Powell because it was affordable, continental breakfast, AND it had a pool. After hiking some of the national parks, we wanted to come back and relax by the pool each day. When we arrived, we found out that the pool(and hot tub)was closed for renovations. We booked in January and received no warning or heads up until we were standing in the lobby checking in. Swimming in Lake Powell was great(we did it 1 day), but not with my elderly mother. We could swim in the pool at a nearby hotel but had to pay per person… This was a huge disappointment for us and we had no idea until there... The small things are: there were no coffee pots in the rooms, we had some issues with our keys a couple times, and then the last thing… a smile goes a loooong way when you’re traveling. 1 of the 5-6 staff members that helped us smiled while she was helping us. All were accommodating and effective, but a happy and smiling staff takes a stay and elevates it from good to great. I would still recommend this hotel as the price was great and breakfast was great, just a couple improvements that would’ve taken to the next level.

Water wasn't working when we checked in but resolved soon after. No pool either.

Nice hotel and wonderful breakfast. The pool a hot tub were closed for scheduled maintenance. That was the reason I booked with them, so that was very disappointing. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Friendly staff and clean room.

We arrived at 3:30pm and there was no one upon check in. At 3:50, we had a quick and easy check in, room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent: hard boiled eggs, make your own waffles, yogurt, sausage links and strong coffee, etc. Location was just 15 min to Lake Powell and 8 to our Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend tour check in. Location was convenient and easy parking. A big issue that was not listed though was that the pool was under renovation. In 112 degree weather, I would have booked another hotel due to this.
