Experience room not being clean and didn’t get clean to almost 3pm causing delay in my getting my day started with showering etc

We had a great view from our oceanfront view room. Everything was great except the room carpets. They seemed old and wet(?) most of the time. Maybe it my be due to the moisture. Usually, I would not really mind walking on hotel carpets, but I used the provided slippers while we stayed. The poolside amenities were excellent and the staff were very helpful and kind.

Nice view and next to the beach as well as to a lot of stores and outdoor malls. My only complaint are the “hidden” extra fees or costs of things that we thought would be included or priced at a certain rate. Example: I thought breakfast would be $40 per person as mentioned on Expedia, but after visiting the breakfast options (Longboard Club and Swell) Longboard Club was $175 per day (via there Longboard Member Card) for their buffet options to include breakfast and dinner where as Swell Restaurant is à la carte for meals that are $20+. I assumed I could pay $40 for breakfast for me and my wife at least at one of these options, but it was not true. Expedia got some things right, but it would be good to also verify some things on the hotel website directly to plan better. Resort fee also added up quickly, but covered a lot of indoor hotel activities like classes or workouts. Unfortunately we were unable to partake in these. Random note: our room did not have a microwave for the food that we saved, but staff were able to quickly provide one to our satisfaction. Just make sure that the view you want is in the gallery of the stay booked. Ours said Oceanview and had a partial view which is what we ended up with. Wifey was unhappy with the partial view. Other than that, all the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Also valet parking was smooth and easy for entering/exiting privilege’s. I would give this place a 7.5/10 (because of the unexpected additional costs).

Good stay

Here’s a polished and balanced version of your review: The lobby and entrance were absolutely beautiful and made a great first impression. The staff on the floors were wonderful, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We also had a fantastic time with the outside activities. Unfortunately, our room experience was disappointing. We booked and paid for two oceanfront rooms but only received one. The second room overlooked buildings instead of the ocean. We spoke with the manager, who told us they would try to move us to the correct room the following day, but that never happened. We were later told they were sorry and that the issue was due to bookings made through another party. The rooms themselves were just okay, and the bathrooms were very small. Considering how much we paid for an oceanfront stay, we expected a much better overall experience. Sadly, the accommodations did not meet our expectations.

Location was fantastic, loved the free chairs and umbrella amenity, Longboard club was excellent. We also loved the stretch class with Christine and tennis on the 9th floor! Excellent place, pool was awesome too.

Lots of good things, but the rooms were on the smaller side, and balcony was small but great amenities and the staff was great and diligent.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and has an excellent location with easy access to everything on Waikiki Beach. It was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and the beach, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel was fairly clean, but there were a few housekeeping details that could use a little more attention. The hallways could have been vacuumed more often, and the guest rooms would benefit from a more thorough cleaning. These weren’t major issues, but improving them would make a noticeable difference. One thing to keep in mind when booking is that the total cost doesn’t include the additional resort fee, valet parking, or the $10-per-day fee to use a microwave. It’s worth factoring those extra charges into your budget. Despite those minor concerns, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. With just a few housekeeping improvements, this hotel would provide an even more exceptional stay.

Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view. Hands down the best hotel in Waikiki.

This a beautiful Hotel and very convenient. Close to everything, the beach, restaurants, food stores, etc. the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the bedrooms need some upgrades. The carpet is kind of dirty and the bathroom not really nice but other then that pretty good 👌
