Clean rooms, amazing amenities and lovely breakfast

The front desk staff and the manager were extremely friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out. Our flight got cancelled and we couldn’t make the first night at the hotel (booked for two nights). We booked through expedia and the hotel manager went out of his way to reimburse the first night, although it was non-refundable. The hotel was very understanding and empathetic towards us. We got our money back within 2 days, all thanks to the manager. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to travel to Bolzano. This hotel also offers the most convenient location and a rooftop restaurant where you can have an amazing breakfast with a breathtaking view of Bolzano town center. The room and the amenities are new and modern. We will no doubt to stay again if we go back to Bolzano.

The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect. A few minutes from the train and the old town. The interior of the hotel was gorgeous as was the restaurant. Incredible views! The food in the hotel and the free breakfast were delicious and up the utmost quality.

Beautiful hotel, but there is a real problem with the staff. Check in took 45 minutes and when checking out the staff was not pleased because they were on a break. Would not recommend and definitely won’t go back. The hotel is also very difficult to find.

The hotel is new, clean, beautifully maintained and the staff are helpful and welcoming. What did not go well was a DJ night event was going on in the 6th floor party area and the thumping music made it impossible to rest or sleep. I talked to the front desk and they explained even though I was on the 3rd floor, three floors down from the DJ area, there was no quieter room available as all the top floors shook from the music. The Falkensteiner should decide if it wants to be a hotel to welcome all travelers, or an event space that only hosts party people -- then properly advertise as such.

Check-in was prompt, friendly and professional in the best German tradition. The parked, and our bags were taken to our room right away. Received a Suditrol pass, allowed free access to local trams and public transport as well as valuable information about local activities. The lobby is not grand - two chairs, a stool, some water and a dog water station. But do not be misled, as this is a five-star offering in terms of room and service. The two elevators are fast. Parkade access is well lit and spotless. You must research the hotel access. It is accessed from the parkade (the hotel is atop a large mall complex). Enter the parkade and follow the signs to the hotel. The 6th-floor bar/restaurant shines brightest. Excellent views. Breakfast on par with Sofitel and Fairmont levels. Service staff were great, with special mention to Khalil, who endorsed a fantastic day outing! The Japanese dinner and lounge menu is very good. Bar is good but does not offer a classic vesper martini :) The room was large with a balcony. Enough room to hang clothes and place four suitcases. Shower temperature is constant with good pressure. Toilet in a separate room from the shower. Decent space above and below the counter for items. Bed very comfy with extra pillows and enough room for personal items on side tables. Electrical receptacles are well placed for recharging (wish every hotel did this). Check out the spa/gym/sauna and relaxation room! Beautifiul!

Modern and Beautiful hotel strategically located at city center. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful - all essential information was well communicated. The room is spacious with comfortable bed, very clean and well maintained in general. Rooftop restaurant has a fantastic view and the breakfast was well organised with helpful staffs. Will definitely return to this hotel if happen to revisit this city in near future.
