My stay at The Yard was wonderful. The hotel's design is beautiful and calming, with a stunning backyard. The bed was incredibly comfortable, I slept so well. It has a great location that's very convenient — my DiDi ride here only took about 20 minutes from Hongqiao Hub and was really affordable. The service was excellent, with staff always ready to help. A special highlight was the essential oil ritual at check-in – choosing my own scent made the experience feel personal and relaxing. What really impressed me were all the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel: free gym, a cozy workspaces perfect for getting things done, free laundry even comes with detergent provided!. The breakfast was absolutely authentic and delicious. Honestly, the value here is unbelievable. Great service, peaceful atmosphere, and all these amenities at such a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again next time in Shanghai.

Crafted by the protégés of Kengo Kuma, The Yard Hotel Shanghai has been honored with the Golden Winner award at the 2025 International MUSE Design Awards, while its lead designer also received the 2025 KUKAN "Young Talent Prize," achieving dual accolades for this urban oasis. Located in Shanghai's Caohejing, the hotel forms a strategic triangle with the National Exhibition and Convention Center and Hongqiao Transportation Hub, ensuring convenient and efficient access for both business travel and urban exploration. The hotel features a soothing sanctuary defined by natural wood textures and lush greenery, seamlessly integrating ecological aesthetics into every corner. Guests can stroll through the moss courtyard in the morning light, find inspiration in shared spaces surrounded by plants, or enjoy a chef-customized breakfast by floor-to-ceiling windows. We believe true balance lies in discovering a haven where inspiration flourishes naturally amid busy trips and city adventures—a refined, thoughtfully designed healing experience in Shanghai.
