Our tour guide Effy was amazing! She had a lot of knowledge of the area and great maps of each area. The views and food were amazing. I definitely recommend this tour. Don’t forget to take yen with you.

This was my first time joining a KLOOK one-day tour, and from the start, I was impressed by our guide Liu Du's professionalism. He seamlessly switched between Chinese, English, and Japanese for the tour commentary (speaking with a gentle and refined local charm). Throughout the trip, he was very attentive and caring towards the group members, providing detailed explanations. He was also very clear about pick-up/drop-off points and time management. At the Lake Biwa observation deck, he recommended we take the second cable car up to the very top to enjoy 360-degree views, and also suggested trying Omi beef steak, among other things. All of these experiences left us with wonderful memories of Kyoto. Thank you, Liu Du, and thank you, KLOOK, for such a fantastic tour. We look forward to seeing you again next time!

Wonderful day trip to the Miho Museum Our bus trip to the Miho Museum was one of the highlights of our time in Kyoto. Kangfu was both our driver and our guide, and he did a great job at both. He drove safely and comfortably, and he made the day easy and enjoyable from start to finish. The itinerary was perfect: not too long, not too short. We had enough time to enjoy the museum without feeling rushed, and we were back without being worn out. Thank you, Kangfu, for a memorable day. We'd happily recommend this trip to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Již den před jednodenním výletem jsme obdrželi e-mail od průvodkyně Sun Jiasueh (Yuki) s podrobným itinerářem, pokyny, místem srazu a kontaktními údaji. Vzhledem k tomu, že tato skupina měla asi 20 lidí, jeli jsme tentokrát velkým autobusem. Na začátku výletu a krátce před příjezdem do cíle nám průvodkyně Yuki vše podrobně vysvětlila a upozornila nás na důležité věci, přičemž nás přes aplikaci Line neustále informovala o detailech programu a místech nástupu. 1. zastávka: Muzeum Miho – architektonická utopie I. M. Peie. Každý, kdo studuje architekturu, musí na vlastní kůži zažít mistrovo propojení architektonického designu s okolní přírodou. Oběd byl individuální, přičemž rýžové kuličky a tofu v restauraci u pokladny rozhodně stojí za ochutnání (fotografie 1–3). 2. zastávka: Svatyně Hieši na hoře Hijei – hlavní svatyně všech více než 3 800 svatyní Hiedži, Hijei a Sannō v Japonsku, známá svými opicemi jako božími posly (fotografie 4). 3. zastávka: Svatyně Širahige u jezera Biwa a její plovoucí torii brána – legenda nejbližší bohům (fotografie 5–6). Děkujeme průvodkyni Yuki a panu řidiči za dnešní služby, díky kterým si naše čtyřčlenná rodina odnesla spoustu skvělých zážitků.

This tour does not include the Biwako Valley ropeway tickets, but you can buy them on Klook, which is cheaper than buying them on-site. If you choose to board at Kyoto Station and get off at Osaka Station, your luggage can be stored on the tour bus. Look for staff wearing yellow vests with "gogoday" to check in. Tour guide Zhang Yanjin was extremely nice 👍 He drove smoothly, provided just the right amount of information, and kindly answered all our questions. I felt the time allocated for each stop was well planned. Also, thank you to all the fellow travelers who joined today—even though there were only 8 of us, everyone was quite punctual! ✅ I recommend renting an audio guide at Miho Museum ✅ (The last photo of Shirahige Shrine was edited because of bad weather 🤣)

Naší průvodkyní byla slečna Effy Yafei, která mluví čínsky, anglicky a japonsky. Byla velmi trpělivá k našim otázkám, vyjadřovala se jasně a systematicky. Před odjezdem nám laskavě poslala e-mail s kontaktními údaji, v den zájezdu komunikovala prostřednictvím skupinového chatu v aplikaci a před příjezdem k atrakcím nás upozornila na to, na co si máme dát pozor. S uspořádáním jsme byli velmi spokojeni👍🏻

Today, due to the holiday, there were heavy crowds and severe traffic congestion. Fortunately, the weather was clear and the scenic beauty far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Yafei, gave us detailed introductions on the bus in advance regarding the cultural history, local cuisine, and great photo spots for each attraction, which was extremely helpful. Despite the heavy traffic, the guide continuously communicated with the driver to estimate our arrival time and constantly kept us updated on the estimated arrival times and duration of our visits, allowing us to adjust our expectations accordingly. She was very dedicated and responsible. As for the scenery, Lake Biwa is truly stunning with its sparkling waters. Exploring, checking in, and taking photos on the mountain yielded amazing pictures. We experienced both the cable car and the Sky Bridge; the scenery on the mountain was pleasant and expansive, and we had a wonderful time. The only thing to note is that it is windy at the top of the mountain, so it is best to wear a windbreaker and long pants to avoid getting cold. Due to the traffic jams, we only had half an hour to explore and shop at our last stop, La Collina Omihachiman. The tour guide efficiently led us quickly to the cake factory at the very back, allowing us to catch the core scenery just before sunset. The experience was still quite good overall. Generally speaking, thanks to the clear weather and comfortable temperatures, this trip greatly exceeded expectations. The only minor drawback was the traffic, which compressed the time available at each attraction, making it feel a bit like a rushed "special forces" style tour, and the return trip was a bit late. However, overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable time. Special thanks to our dedicated tour guide Yafei, and to the experienced and smooth driver who warmly greeted each of us when getting on and off the bus and helped us with our luggage!
