Co dělat v Forbidden City

I would like to share my experience. it’s as simple as it can be. book and select the morning slot or afternoon slot. if you choose the morning slot, you can enter anytime from 8am to 12pm. if you book the afternoon slot, you cannot enter earlier. The attendants at the gate will ask you to return later. And entering the place was as easy with just bringing your passport. but be careful when you book in Klook. you must enter your passport number correctly. someone got an alphabet wrong and the scanning could not detect. the person was asked to contact the source to get the alphabet corrected. I didn’t stay to witness what happened, but I later saw that person inside, so I guess it must have been settled. also, I booked with the treasure gallery, which is a must if you want to visit the Zhen consort well. it is inside the treasure gallery.

Průvodkyně Linda byla organizovaná a neustále dbala na to, aby neztratila skupinu, dávala nám dostatek času, aby celá skupina dorazila na každou zastávku, než začala vyprávět o významu každé budovy, relikvie nebo historického artefaktu. Mluvila jasně a srozumitelně, s nádechem humoru a vždy s úsměvem. Prohlídka byla dobře načasovaná, ne příliš hektická, navzdory rozsahu a hloubce probíraného materiálu. Rozhodně to stojí za vaše peníze!

Prohlídka začala načas a oba průvodci, Amy a MA, s námi vše koordinovali den před plánovanou prohlídkou. Oba velmi srozumitelně vysvětlili historii Zakázaného města a Letního paláce. MA nás dokonce po prohlídce Letního paláce doprovodil k Ptačímu hnízdu. Velmi si toho ceníme.

Our tour guide, Mr. Liu, was enthusiastic, friendly, and attentive, taking excellent care of both adults and children. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to comfortably explore various parts of Beijing. We hope to visit Beijing again in the future. Thank you very much.

Náš průvodce Jimmy byl opravdu přátelský a mluví také dobře anglicky. Má skvělé znalosti nejen o historii Zakázaného města, ale i o historii Číny. Prohlídku jsme si opravdu užili, Jimmy ji udělal mnohem poučnější a zajímavější, než kdybychom šli sami. Také nám pomohl pořídit opravdu pěkné fotky!~ Jimmyho jako průvodce vřele doporučujeme.

Very good experience, efficient service, good quality bus and lovely tour guide. Helen was very helpful and nice. The tour covered good explorations and included all the tickets. Convenient and save all the troubles. The ground was not too big and everyone was nice.

We went on a tour with Selina. We booked the trip to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall, including lunch. The Forbidden City was fascinating; Selina shared a lot of interesting details about its history and architecture. The shuttle to the Great Wall ran smoothly, and Selina took excellent care of everything. Lunch at the Great Wall was an all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet with something for everyone. Selina explained everything clearly; we took the longer slide and the cable car to reach the section of the wall. We were able to book the slide ride through Selina while on the bus. Highly recommended—Mutianyu is beautiful, and the trip was the highlight of our visit!

Skvělý zážitek, místo je obrovské a krásné, strávil jsem tam přes čtyři hodiny. Bránu u Tiananmen jsem sice neviděl, ale i tak to byl dobrý zážitek. Bylo řečeno, že se vstupuje bočním vchodem, ale viděl jsem lidi vstupovat z náměstí Tiananmen. Pokud si to někdo zarezervuje, ať se na to zeptá.

We had a light rainy day during the tour, but honestly, it didn’t affect the experience at all. The tour was amazing, and we really enjoyed it! Our tour guide, David, was super friendly, energetic, and attentive. He took great care of us throughout the whole trip, and even kept in touch with us the day before via WeChat and WhatsApp to make sure everything was well prepared and went smoothly. Definitely recommend this tour! And if you’re lucky enough to have David as your guide, you’re in great hands! 😊👍
