Location is great, although the union square area is not as lively as before (many stores closures). There was no front desk, so you must check in at another hotel. Some people wouldn't know. A bonus is they have a kitchen and laundry facilitiy (required coins).

We enjoyed the time stay here. Super easy to walk around the Fisherman's wharf. The kids love the smore and game time.

The accommodation is in a great location within a safe area with very few homeless people around. It is convenient to travel to various places because it is close to public transportation stations. There are 3 bathrooms and 4 shower rooms, equipped with a hairdryer, microwave, plates, and some condiments. However, there is no kitchen for cooking.

We stayed at Cartwright Hotel for a short layover, and it was a great choice. The room was small but comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a restful overnight stay.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. One of the best things about the location is that there’s a 7-Eleven directly across the street, making it very convenient for snacks, drinks, or any last-minute essentials.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I’d happily recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable hotel for a short stop in San Francisco.
