very funny entertaining and well organised, food was lovely too i wasn’t sure before booking of it was my kind of thing I got involved and had the best night in Japan so far would definitely recommend staff and wrestlers very polite 😊

An unforgettable experience! The energy throughout the Kyoto Sumo Experience with Rikishi Challenge was incredible, and the audience participation made it so much fun and engaging. The rikishi were not only entertaining but also did a fantastic job educating us about the traditions and techniques of sumo. The meal was excellent—authentic, delicious, and a perfect complement to the event. It was the perfect blend of culture, entertainment, and cuisine. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto!

Such a fun and unforgettable experience! Tried my luck against a former sumo wrestler (it went about as expected 😂). Definitely a must-do in Kyoto!

One of the best experiences everrrrr!! the wrestlers were amazing and had true showmanship. It was informative, entertaining, and all in a wholesome experience. Totally worth the money. We learnt Sumo exercises from them, and participated in a challenge too. Unforgettable. Do not miss. As vegetarians they had vegan meal option with fruit, veggies and soup in hotpot, and a salad. One free drink was also included.

I would highly recommend going here, we had an amazing evening, with amazing a wonderfully organised booking process, and clear instructions to a fantastic meal and more importantly a really insightful and fun night. The sumo wrestlers were great and they along with a wonderful compare kept the audience engaged and fully included with great matches and also customer inclusion.

This was a great evening for the 5 of us. There were lots of laughs and it was fun to see the two professionals and their antics; the challengers were also a riot to watch. Overall, we all agreed that this was a recommended experience!

my brother and I had a fantastic experience. you learn about the history of sumo and what the training for sumo is like. my favorite part was being able to put on the belt (over clothes provided) and attempting the warm ups and even getting to attempt to fight the wrestlers. possibly the best thing I have done on my trip.

Great experience, would definetely recommend if your in Kyoto. If your lucky enough you might be able to wrestle with them. Great sense of humour and an unforgetable experience.
