Luang Prabang: Světelná show Buddhy

This is a must see experience in Luang Prabang. The production is very high quality. The choreograph and stage design and elaborated costumes is the level on par with major shows like Kar in Vegas. I highly recommend getting the front row VIP tickets. The elevation for the seats are not that much, so bacl rows may be blocked.

Beautiful costumes, special light effects and even water effects. The music was partially live, and singing was playbacked. To be honest, the dancing wasn't 100% perfect, but it was really nice. We got a WhatsApp message with instructions of where to pick up our real paper tickets (just beside the door). It seemed that all the 20 westerners were put together at the front left of the stage. Even though we bought the cheapest tickets, we got 2nd row seats. The room was filled for about 1/3 with people. Mainly Chinese groups. Come at 7 at the entrance for a welcome dance. We walked to the entrance from the centre (Google Maps sent us the wrong way 2 times). The performance started at 7.30 sharp. There was Lao, English, and Chinese translation on the digital screens beside the stage. But it was hard to read and see the show. Plus the translation sometimes went odd, like one language was missing or the 2 screens were not the same. The story wasn't essential to enjoy the show.

aif you are in Luang Prabang this is a show you really should go and see. I was very impressed with the stage show and I highly recommend it for people to spend a couple of hours in the evening.

amazing show , I loved it , i recommend you to go at 7 there’s a pre show , it wasn’t that crowded also staff allowed me to change my seat to an empty one which was helpful

Great performance by all the dancers and music players. The welcoming dance and farewell dance in which the audiences can participate are quite surprising and lovely. The customer service is nice and they respond quickly. I would recommend this activity to everyone visiting Luang Prabang

Young and beautiful dancers along with multimedia effects. storyline is a class between Buddha’s life and ordinary Laotian life. we were welcome by the dances before start of the show and send off by the dancers at the end of the show. he is an impressive experience. Strongly recommended!

Beautiful and interesting performance, you can tell the performers or people who set up the show put a lot of thought and heart into it. Great to understand more about Laotian culture especially as a tourist. The light effects were amazing, wonderful choreography, costumes and music. Highly recommend.
