Celodenní výlet do Pompejí a na Vesuv z Říma

Mírné snížení hodnocení je způsobeno tím, že jsem byl původně zařazen do skupiny A s odjezdem v 7:30, mé jméno bylo na seznamu skupiny A a při kontrole docházky jsem byl na seznamu skupiny A. Nicméně, během kontroly docházky ve skupině A se neustále objevovali další lidé, a po prošetření se zjistilo, že patřím do skupiny B a mé vstupenky byly ve skupině B. Nakonec jsem byl na odpočívadle převeden k průvodci skupiny B a všechny aktivity jsem absolvoval se skupinou B. Osobně se domnívám, že jsem si zájezd zakoupil přes Klook s odjezdem v 7:35, ale místní cestovní kancelář mě omylem zařadila do skupiny s odjezdem v 7:30, což vedlo k tomuto nedorozumění. Celkově byl však zájezd velmi plynulý a zábavný, včetně oběda, všech vstupenek na atrakce a výkladu průvodce. Po celou dobu byla zajištěna doprava k sopce, do restaurace, do Pompejí a na místo vysazení v Římě. U sopky a v Pompejích je potřeba hodně chodit, proto důrazně doporučuji pohodlnou obuv. Zejména na sopce může být chladněji, takže si nezapomeňte vzít teplé oblečení.

The whole tour was quite seamlessly planned out. At the first meeting point, do note there are lots of other tours going on at the same time so you would need to queue up and they will tell you which your guide to follow. Our guide for the day was Antonino who was very informative throughout, while our driver skillfully navigated through the small and winding road up Mt Vesuvius. The hike up Mt Vesuvius itself can be a bit of a challenge in terms of time if you want to enjoy the view and climb to the end, so it's best to balance which you want more. The restaurant for lunch is on the way down from My Vesuvius, and we were served with Margherita Pizza and sides. Pompeii itself we were split into two groups and had our own guide to bring us along. The tour will definitely not end at 7.30pm, just be prepared for it to end before 9pm at the ending point Piazza Del Popolo. In general I think it was a good trip and really enjoyed the views and history of it all.

Transport pick up and drop off save us the hassles! Meet up point very easy to find and few staff were assisting for groupings. Tour guide Anna is fabulous, professional and full of humor! Can't even believe she could work the full day with us given her age. She didn't even look tired at all. Ongoing speaking and introducing most of the areas we drove pass in Rome before getting onto highways. Very acknowledgable and informative! Same as Luigi, a tour guide took over us only for Pompeii archaeology site visit but he is also a genius regardless of his age! No problem with listening to his English with minimal Italian accent. Full of story telling of the ancient Pompeii. Lunch included was a three-course meal in Italian restaurant. One large size of Margarita Pizza was served for each person as the main course. Most of us couldn't finish and needed to takeaway the leftover! It is a must join tour for Rome trip!

The itinerary is simple but great. Hiking up the mountain is not difficult but not very easy either. Time allowed is enough for a good hike and enjoyment uphill. Pompeii’s guided tour is wonderful- provided a lot of insight in understanding the ancient life at the city.

Guide Enrica was fantastic. very friendly , clear instruction give throughout the tour. good information given about Rome. Drivr Danilo was great. journey was smooth. may I suggest the tour provide a bottle of water for each participant. and to let us know the duration from one stop to another

Great trip made all the better by our wonderful tour guide, Julia and our expert driver. The weather was fantastic and Elena our guide at Pompeii was a world of knowledge. Recommend this trip to anyone.

the main guide Chiara was very helpful, and shared a lot of interesting history along the route to Pompeii. She also provided a lot of recommendations in terms of places to visit and eat. // the guide for Pompeii was ok, felt like she could have shared more. The weather was unfortunately raining, would have been better if it's a good weather. Nevertheless, the trip is still interesting. // the most fascinating trip was the scenic tour at Mt Vesuvius by Alessandra (?), the lady geologist. She is very passionate and shared facts about the volcano explosion in a very easy to understand manner.

One of the best one day trip in my life. Pompeii is spectacular and Positano is beautiful. Our guide Viviana is also very nice. Highly recommended.
