Things to do in Nara Prefecture

This trip is memorable for me and my partner. It is our first time in Japan and very excited to see Nara and Kyoto and this tour made it possible. On our way to our last destination, we were crashed by a private vehicle but kudos to our tour guide Valerie, and the driver, they handled the situation calmly and professionally.

I booked a 1-day tour of Kyoto and Nara during my trip to Osaka. Traveling by bus, our guide, Oh Seok-bong, gave great explanations at each attraction, which made the sightseeing much more enriching and helped me create wonderful memories. He also told us many fun stories on the bus while we traveled! Plus, he shared several great local restaurants in Osaka. Thanks to him, I successfully finished my one-day tour of Kyoto and Nara. Also, everyone on the tour respected the schedule, so we were able to move smoothly without any delays ^^

If you're traveling a big international trip like we did and were a little nervous trying to figure out all the train systems this is a great option! We based in Osaka for a few days and wanted to see Kyoto and Nara while we were here. We figured we'd be a little overwhelmed trying to get over to Kyoto/Nara so we last minute decided to book a bus tour to the big spots we wanted to see. This was such a great tour! Harid was our tour guide and he was fabulous! You coukd tell he loved what he did. He was always willing to answer our groups questions and keep us informed of each next stop and expectations. We didn't book the lunch but he gave us a good recommendation of where to eat while the rest of the group did the lunch included. He even helped take photos for everyone when needed.

Great tour. Wish the waiting tome was longer. The tour guide who was welcoming us and gave us a brifing , Miho San is very kind and caring. The bus is very convenient. The hilltop view is great. Very recommended! Children enjoyed walking and deers were so sweet and cute. The tip that helped us: we walked to carts that sell deer crackers first and took the wakakusa bus right after that.so we could feed deers on top of the hill.

Zoey, our tour guide was wonderful! She was so friendly, approachable, and deeply knowledgeable about the Arashiyama bamboo forest and the history of the torii gates. She really made the experience smooth and memorable for us.

An unforgettable day exploring Japan! 🇯🇵✨ What an incredible experience! We absolutely loved this tour and getting to explore some of Japan’s most beautiful and iconic locations, from the adorable deer at Nara Park to the breathtaking Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine! Every stop was such a memorable experience. A HUGE special shoutout to our amazing tour guide, Zoey! 🥹❤️ She was absolutely incredible! So friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had the best experience possible. She made the entire day feel so effortless, organised and enjoyable, and her positive energy made the experience even more special! We couldn't have asked for a better guide or a more memorable day exploring Japan. If you're thinking about booking this tour through Klook, DO IT! And if you're lucky enough to have Zoey as your guide, you're in for an absolute treat! Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience on this trip! ❤️ Everything was well organized, the places were beautiful, and I enjoyed every moment. A special shoutout to our guide, CC, who was incredibly sweet, friendly, and helpful throughout the journey. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable with her lovely personality and positive energy. 🥰 Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Japan. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! 🇯🇵✨

The rental store’s location is very convenient, just 4 mins by walk from Nara Kintetsu station. The staffs are professional and friendly. They have various kind of beautiful kimono and accessories. I booked kimono rental for couple plus 30 mins’ photograph shoot via Klook. The stylist is pretty efficient and kind. The photographer is good at guiding us to make nice postures. I’m satisfied with the service and pictures. The price is fair. It’s really worth for the money! I highly recommend people to experience the beauty of Nara with them ☺️❤️

Experience: The Nara Prison Museum is a very unique and historically significant attraction. The architecture itself is full of Meiji-era style, with its distinctive red brick design making it perfect for photos. The museum's exhibits provide a detailed and rich overview of Japan's prison history and system. The atmosphere is rather solemn, evoking a sense of quiet contemplation and reflection during your visit. The overall route is clearly planned, with explanatory signs and displays that allow you to gradually learn a lot about the historical background. Compared to typical tourist spots, this place offers a deeper cultural and historical experience, making it suitable for those interested in architecture or history. The only thing to note is that the location is a bit inconvenient, so it's advisable to allow extra travel time. However, the overall experience is well worth it, making it a less crowded but very distinctive attraction in Nara.
