Fantastic 5.0
Absolutely fantastic tour! The Grand Holland Rotterdam and The Hague Guided Day Tour was very comprehensive, well-organized, and incredibly comfortable from start to finish. We covered so many beautiful and iconic places without ever feeling rushed. Huge thanks to our excellent tour guide, Lucas, who was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the entire experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic 5.0
A great place to visit to look at the places in Netherlands; also wonderful to take many pictures and spend time when the weather’s perfect.

Fantastic 5.0
driver Pete was an excellent tour guide, experienced and very knowledgeable. the timing at each stop was prefect. He knew his way around and avoided extra walking to get us to the closest distance at each stop.

Great 4.0
I visited because I love Escher's work so much, but it was disappointing that they weren't originals. If they had even displayed original prints, the artwork would have felt more alive and impactful. A double scoop of disappointment.

What to know before visiting The Hague

What to expect in The Hague

The catalogue here is led by Museums, Cable cars, Tours and Attraction passes in that order, so you’ll find a mix of low-cost entries and fuller guided experiences that suit quick visits or deeper sightseeing days. That spread means travellers can slot in inexpensive museum stops or opt for guided tours when they want more context. Demand peaks in April, and the quietest month is January, so getting the same experience is easiest in January and becomes noticeably harder in April.

How to choose what to book

The main decision is whether you value convenience or depth of experience when planning activities. Tours offer the widest range so you can pick between budget and premium options, with a typical price of USD 53 and options from USD 49 up to USD 57; Cable cars have a narrow range so shopping around gains little, typically USD 17. For filling gaps in an itinerary the most affordable way in is Cable cars at USD 17, while Museums sit in the lower-cost zone but are great for short stops and flexible timing.

When travellers typically book

Most travellers book about 2 days ahead, while the earliest planners book around 21 days out. That means much is booked close to travel — plan on booking one to two days before, but allow extra cushion if you travel in April when demand peaks.

How prices stack across popular activities

The table below shows how the city's top categories compare on price so you can place a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Museums USD 24 USD 23 – 24
Cable cars USD 17 USD 17 – 17
Tours USD 53 USD 49 – 57
Attraction passes USD 23 USD 23 – 23

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
