We absolutely loved this property, with wonderful, spacious villas nestled amongst rice fields. The property was incredibly peaceful right outside the main part of Ubud. The service was excellent, and the hot air balloon ride was an unexpected treat.

The perfect get-away, it was our second time returning to the property and it was just as amazing as ever. The staff's detail to attention and pride in their work really shines through.

Tanah Gajah was by far the most relaxing vacation my wife and I have ever had. From our villa with infiti pool looking on to the rice paddies to the private walled accomodation, the extensive beautifully designed gardens, wonderful food by chef Dean, everything superb! Staff couldn’t do enough and everyone, from ground staff to housekeeping to management should be proud of your customer services, a truly fantastic experience, my wife and I can’t wait to come back.

Excellent stay experience. The staffs are super friendly. Quiet and safe place. Not too far from ubud centre. You can have a lot of fun here.

1st let me be honest. The photos and description online left me in doubt if I should book this place. But I have rarely seen a hotel get such high rating from so many reviews..so out of curiosity decided to take a chance and I am so glad I did. We stayed at one of the 2 bedroom villa with pool and it was amazing. The property grounds are beautifully layed out then found out the story that it started as a personal property of renowned architect.. it is one of the most serene and beautiful place we have evey stayed. The staff is very good and really took good care. Its close to Ubud downtown yet breaks away from the hustle bustle of the town. The amenities provided are beyond par. Would definitely recommed and revisit for a stay in the future.

Great propert. Very quiet and homily feeling. The staff is amazing and always very helpful and very very prompt.

We had the most magical stay. Even after we checkout out we decided to forgo our other reservation and check back in. The staff is incredible! They are all on a groups WhatsApp and are more than accommodating. The grounds are magical but what makes this place so special are the people and the experiences they offer. We took a cooking class, had massages, enjoyed the gym, a photo session with professional photographer and the food was incredible. We also watched the local dance and dinner show. What a stay!!!
