The hotel was just what we needed, a clean decent place to sleep after spending the days hiking! The price was right so we were able to look past the outdated rooms and amenities. Great location to Banff and the surrounding national parks. Walking distance to Canmore and close to some great dining options!

Rooms are clean. They provide you with towels, pans, coffee maker, etc. Couldn't use the hot tub which I was looking forward too because it is occupied and it's small. But, that's okay. Staff were friendly and helpful. You could tell that the lodge is old but its maintained enough to what you pay. The appliances were clean and usable. Had some issues with the TV cable but we figured it out. Little to no noise of surroundings. Nice outside view of the mountains. Plenty of parking. You may not be able to park where your room is sometimes. Overall, awesome place. Would comeback again.

Clean rooms and very accomodating staff. We got the room with full kitchen and upped deck beds. They clean the room everyday as well. My kids (5 and 2y/o) had fun at the plauground outside and even just playing inside the room. Spacious enough for them to play.
