Nice hotel

This is a nightclub built in hotel - not for introverted people

10/10 I honestly I’m gonna be in the area for a week. Sadly, I could not book the hotel for the entire week because it was full. But when I saw it, it’s amenities, and the raving reviews I fell in love and knew I had to stay there if only for two days so that’s exactly what I did. I love Japan and I’m definitely planning to come back to Osaka area when I do I hope to stay here.

Room was stinky. The stuff was horrible. Didn’t help with nothing there was nobody to talk to the only good thing in this place is the size of the home but I wouldn’t recommend it to. Nobody don’t eat in the hotel horrible food. Everyone got sick from it.

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. The location was convenient and everything we needed was easily accessible. There is a 711 on the side of the hotel and Lawson across the street. There's a roof top also which is very nice at night. And the of course the bar below it. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The property was very pretty & trendy. Not a great area, but perhaps it’s up and coming. I wouldn’t say the hotel is a great option for families as they’re more focused around drinking (ex. Promoting happy hour drinking, free beer in the lobby, bar up top). As a family of four (two teenagers with us) I would have rather stayed in a ryokan and not spent time at the Lively. It started with our check-in: the staff weren’t very pleasant and seemed irritated we were there, but we checked in later in the day so maybe we caught them at a bad time. The issues just snowballed from there. 1) Our room backed on to the elevator. When we asked if we could move (and offered to pay) they said no, that this was the “tier” we had booked because we booked through Expedia and they were completely full. We understood and moved on. 2) In our room, there was a bundle of live, unprotected wires under the bed. My husband noticed them when we started to get settled in, and when he went to inspect them, they sparked and the breaker flipped. Emergency lights came on. When we called down to the front desk, they didn’t say anything about the potential fire hazard, just moved us (despite being full up). We were placed in another room that backed on to the elevators 3) In the new room, the sheets were dirty with blood stains. We had to ask for new sheets and remake the beds. No apology given All in all, our best time in the hotel was at check out. Happy to be moving on to a different hotel today.

Clean well organized

A fantastic spot to use as a base for exploring around Osaka, Kyoto, Nara etc. The hotel is stylishly decorated and the room was fantastic. Check in and check out was a breeze thanks to the helpful staff. This was my first trip to Japan and this place definitely left a good impression. Highly recommend!
