The friendly staff greeted me at the door, spoke enough english so check-in was easy and quick. They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. A nice quiet accommodation with an instant friendly warmth when you walk through the door. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here.

Run by an absolutely lovely family who offer lots of free snacks, clean rooms, and within walking distance of the train station. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The host, an old-man, I just forgot his name, sorry. He is very nice and upon arrival we got a present from him. Very glad to receive it. He is really really nice. He speak English very well, explaining all the instruction. The only matter for me is the room the futtons space is very narrow, when you put the futtons, 4 pcs, there is no more space to move, whereas, your suitcases are all open. The hanger position (for jacket etc) is not good, so, not easy to put and take back. The heater in the room is not enough I think, but there is a small handy heater additional. Overall, it is too complicated for all operation. The shower is a small cabin (ACE hardware cabin look like). The toiler is separate and has a Japanese feature closet (warm and jet spray). There are microwave, fridge inside as well. For me, who used to stay at hotel, maybe not comfortable to stay at apartment with futton bed.

GGOD: Near Kanagawa station.Warm and helpful staffs. Shared utensils, oven and microwave. Convenience store nearby.
BAD: No toothbrush and toothpaste. Shared slipper. No daily room cleanup. Less privacy. Long stairs up to the room, bit dangerous for kids and elderly.

Our room was fantastic. It had everything we needed. It was clean and everything worked perfectly. The location was excellent for the station and sights. It was really excellent value.

Fantàstic We had received warm hospitalization upon check-in. The owner allowed us to checkin earlier, and they provided guidance and advisory on travel route in Kanazawa. Overall experience is beyond expectation.

Fantàstic Best value! Close to omicho, the station, and the major attractions in Kanazawa. Very clean and the staff members are super friendly.
I missed our little breakfast/dinner time Japanese chats. Be amused ‘cuz I don’t speak much Japanese really. The owner lady, staff members, and even the other guests, they are so very understanding. It feels like... home.
