We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. we had a very good experience and enjoyed many things about the hotel. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making us feel welcome!

We booked premium confort rooms. The rooms were quiet, clean, and the beds comfortable. However there is nothing premium about them. The furniture is old, the wallpaper needs a refresh, there is no thermostat for the AC. The bathroom is very basic. No robes provided. The breakfast buffet is very good but more expensive than average. Very good location.

Misleading amenities; the pool is NOT A LEISURE pool. It is a PRIVATE HEALTH/GYM CLUB with access given to hotel guests for a fee. The pool is an Olympic training pool. Not recommended for children. Very strict rules on using the space. Also, very outdated. Restaurants/bars close at 10 pm. Breakfast if not included, is overpriced. Location is a 25-minute or more walk from the main tourist attractions. The hotel needs updating.

Stayed at Sheraton Miyako Osaka during a holiday expecting a proper hotel experience, but was shocked to find out almost every amenity came with extra charges — something never clearly explained when booking. Staff were genuinely great and the rooms were decent to nice, but how do you invite guests to stay during a holiday period and then nickel-and-dime them for basic amenities afterward? Transparency matters. A hotel at this level should be upfront about extra costs before guests arrive, not surprise them later.

A quiet oasis in the middle of bustling Osaka. Very conveniently connected to a train station and tons of great eating places within walking distance. I enjoyed the pool for lane swim in the morning. There is a small extra charge but well worth it. Breakfast was amazing for quality with a mix of Japanese and international options. Only change I would suggest is opening the pool a lot earlier as it's hard to fit a solid workout in before breakfast closes at 9:30am 🙂
