Very cute, affordable hotel that was central to everything

Our stay at The 8 Downtown Suites was exceptional! The room was lovely, modern and clean. The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff were delightful. Recardo who checked us in and was on the desk for the duration of our stay could not have been more helpful and charming. He gave us a map and happily answered any questions and recommended things we could do in the local area. A truly lovely stay, highly highly recommend.

Rooms were clean and well equipped with additional pillows and towels. There were blackout curtains and very little street noise so it was easy to get a good sleep. There was always someone at the front desk to help out. Excellent location, very walkable to all the sights!

Excellent room and location

Staff amazing, property in the best location

Check in was easy, room was comfortable and location was good. Breakfast was just ok. Time for breakfast had to be booked and you could not sit and loiter over coffee as we were asked to move so they could reset the table. Eggs were cooked as requested but only one egg was allowed.

The 8 Downtown Suites is such a perfect spot! It's right in town so very easy to walk pretty much anywhere you want to go, BUT it's just tucked away enough that we had absolutely no street noise at all! We were immediately greeted by incredibly helpful staff who were always available to help with anything. The room was extremely clean and well maintained, with lots of modern updates including an awesome rainwater shower! The bed was also really comfortable! The breakfast was nice, although there are so many awesome and affordable breakfast spots in the area, we wound up opting for those most of the time. Seriously, though, we feel like we struck gold finding such a clean, affordable, quiet spot in such a great area! Highly recommend!

The location of this property is good, other than that it needs a lot of renovation

I thought the breakfast was included. It was ok but not work 10 euros Otherwise things were good We did see a massive cockroach in hall on the 3rd floor!

Great location near everything and very walkable. The room itself was very clean and bigger than expected , had everything you’d need, ac, toiletries, but nothing really extra like coffee. Pretty quiet room and modern. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and nice, the lady at the front was more curt. Overall, a great stay and I’d recommend if you’d like to close to all the fires and lots of great restaurants and shopping. Overall I’d recommend for ab affordable and very central stay in Lisbon.
