I was a little worried as it was one of the least expensive hotels I could find in Cologne but I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about an 8 min. walk from the main train station and about a 2-3 minute walk from the Heumarkt where you have many amazing options for meals. We had a courtyard view from our room which was pleasantly quiet so I can't give my opinion on how loud or quiet a street facing room would be. The hotel was very clean and seemed well maintained. The staff were very friendly. If you are a smoker there is a small patio in the courtyard where you can sit. Our room was quite nice especially the bathroom. If I were going to complain about anything it would be that there is no coffee maker in the room and the mini fridge is full of beverages you can buy so if you want to put your own food or drinks in the fridge there really isn't room. I can't give an opinion on breakfast as we went out to eat instead.
Overall it was a surprisingly great stay (considering the price per night) and I will gladly stay here again if/when I come back to Cologne!

Excellent hotel. Reception team are very good, helpful and knowledgeable the city. The room is lovely. One of the best hotels I have stayed in in Cologne. Clean, warm, a good bed and very clean room and bathroom.

I used the hotel while at a conference. It was easy to get to subway and back. I felt safe walking home late at night. Room had everything I needed. It was perfect for me
