The staff are able to speak good English. Slippers and socks are provided in room for guests to wear them to Onsen.

Absolutely beautiful and well worth the money to splurge on! We took advantage of a lot of what the hotel had to offer (for example, massages, facials, hotel restaurant, and even the nearby outlets). They do come at an extra reasonable price! Hotel is also beautiful and had a great view of MT Fuji, we were lucky to see it on a day it was clear during the morning hours. It is on the other side of Mt Fuji which if you are trying to visit Fuji Q Highland, Narusawa Ice Cave, or anything near Kawaguchiko, or anywhere near that area, you will need to ride a two hour or less bus ride that operates on a limited schedule so plan accordingly beforehand, otherwise, completely worth it!

Long walk to get to the hotel, esp'ly with luggages, seems like only those who drive are welcome, you'd think hotel got shuttle from bus station to hotel front, but they don't. Then, once all restaurants close at the same time as the stores in outlet, you got no other options but to eat at the hotel's restaurant which only offered buffet at 5500Y/person; that would not have been a problem if they offered decent food, but no, way worse than food court quality, which made the whole experience less than decent. The view and the hot springs are the only good things left with this hotel.
