Though the location of this hotel was great, I am overall not too satisfied with the stay. I think that for the cleanliness standards in Japan, this hotel did not meet it. Many items within the hotel were not entirely clean, and there were lingering odours in both the bathroom and overall room.

The room was ridiculously tiny. It is an insult to put two paying customers in a room that small. You have to crab-walk sideways to get around the end of the bed, being careful not to hit your shoulder on the wall-mounted TV. There are almost no flat surfaces, just a narrow headboard and two small shelves next to the front door. There was barely room for our luggage. We dealt with the situation but won't be back.

room was so tiny certainly didn’t look like the room i booked! i had spent so much time looking at pics and reading reviews and i don’t know how this hotel got the good reviews it got! quiet street not near anything had to walk 15 mins to Ueno, 10 mins to subway. rooms tiny tiny tiny, bathroom just as tiny, a midget hotel and the price i paid the first night was U$309 is a total rip off! staff spoke little to no english! rigid with extended check out at 12pm! totally a downer to my trip to tokyo to be honest!
