Big thanks to Skuggi for a very pleasant stay! From allowing us to check in a few hours earlier, to amazing breakfast, Skuggi Hotel is wonderful! For anyone considering Skuggi: Parking is limited so be mindful of that. If nothing is available, there’s street parking. No A\C. But windows open for ventilation. Thank you for a memorable stay in Reykjavik!

Great value hotel, close to Bus Stop #9 and right in the centre. Would have liked another pillow (never asked; I'm sure they would have been happy to give me one). Decent breakfast; would come back.

Parking is a problem with this establishment. If you get there early and park your vehicle on the handful of spots you will enjoy the hotel. Although the hotel is in a low rent district it is safe and comfortable. The front desk lady was a little snippity as I had trouble understanding what was coming out of her mouth. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. The location offered easy access to buses and downtown. There are excellent eateries surrounding the hotel all in a short walk. Rooms were spacious and clean.
