We had very good experience of staying, services are excellent, the hotel met all of our ad hoc requests, staff are super friendly, rooms are bigger than those young hotels, location is perfect for touring the city. The building is aged, but that makes the stay even more unique.

We stay in Canada at all the Fairmonts. This one felt old and out of date. We had issues getting directions and help from everyone. The resturant felt very out dated, the spa is minimal thought the massage was very good. The room decor was adequate but not enough outlets and the bath room was just old. The hostess at the Asian resturant was rude but the food was good. The air condition did not work well at all and the room was quite warm. We asked for assistance and the answer was to bring a fan. Overall unimpressed.

The room was dirty when I checked in. The toilet has stains from previous customer. There's garbage on the floor and the carpet has stains.

Everything from the moment we checked in the valet was very friendly, the front desk. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the concierge was amazing. We didn’t have to wait for anything. From our hotel room, we had beautiful views the parliament building. The swimming pool was so relaxing after a swim we sat in a white robe and read a book. On our last day we had to be behind the scenes tour.

Great hotel, but our room was not ready for check-in until 5pm. I believe the cleaning staff is on strike as they were picketting out front. Our room had a very strong cleaner smell when we got in, but you get use to it.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Château Laurier. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their exceptional service and hospitality. The rooms are beautiful, elegant, and full of classic charm. We also loved the hotel's fantastic location, which made it easy to explore the city and enjoy all the nearby attractions. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. When we return to Canada's capital, the Fairmont Château Laurier will definitely be our hotel of choice. Highly recommended!
