Hotel St. Paul, Montreal, a Member of Design Hotels

I recently stayed at the St. Paul Hotel in Montreal and had an overall pleasant experience. The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. Every member of the team was excellent, friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. One area that would greatly improve the guest experience is the addition of EV charging or dedicated EV parking options through their valet. As more travelers are driving electric vehicles, this would be a valuable amenity for the hotel to offer. The biggest disappointment, however, was the breakfast. At $35 per person, the expectations are understandably high, but unfortunately, the food was a major letdown and nowhere near worth the price. While the breakfast service itself was excellent, the quality and selection of the food fell far below the standard set by the rest of the hotel. It honestly diminished an otherwise great experience. Overall, the St. Paul Hotel offers chic and trendy accommodations and exceptional service from its staff, but improving the breakfast and adding EV parking would significantly elevate the experience.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are fine but a little dated. Bar on first floor is great. Location is perfect.

There is no Tesla electric chargers near by

This was a very nice and affordable hotel in the heart of old Montreal! Staff were friendly and overall it was clean and pleasant.

The hotel was in a fantastic location for taking in Old Montreal and the building was very beautiful and old. The staff were friendly and responsive whenever we needed a recommendation or help with our luggage, etc.! The inside of the hotel was more modern than I was expecting with very dark hallways and the absence of architectural details, which lacked the charm of the old building. But overall a great place to stay.

AC didn’t work well in the room & valet lost my house keys so I was locked out after getting back home.
