First of all, the staff is great, but the facility is showing its age. Problems encountered: broken toilet, non-functionig USB ports, AC thermostat only levels were Frozen or Off. Similarly, the mini fridge froze our water, shattering the glass bottle and making a big mess.
The room seems to have no soundproofing. For the balcony rooms, the biggest problem is location. The hotel is situated between multiple mosques so the 0430 prayers blast into the room. This is followed by a couple of hours of rooster crowing competition.
Food prices were good for a hotel, but the taste was lacking. So, be prepared with non-hotel food options.
Room cleaning staff were on top of their game. They scrubbed everything down and tidied up while we were out.
