Really really nice hotel with an excellent bar area and great food. Immaculately clean situated in very safe upmarket area. Room (suite) was sizeable, clean and quiet. Housekeeping did a top job. 10 minute walk into town. This is often said, but of all the great qualities about this hotel, it was the staff who excelled. From the fantastic bar staff (particular thanks to Patricia and Joao), the patient front desk staff and the guys who helped us with the luggage (again particularly the guy who helped us with check in and who went out of his way….even supplying a wheelchair for my wife who had injured her foot the previous day in Lisbon). They made all the difference. Thanks again guys.

It was our second time visiting this hotel. The whole staff was friendly, polite and accommodating. The food in general was excellent. We ate a few times at the bar as we had long days with activities. We are saddened to hear that the hotel will be closing for renovations in the autumn under new ownership. We only hope that when they reopen in early 2028, the owners will keep it’s charm without becoming pretentious and overpriced.

We had an amazing stay at Miragem. Beautiful property with all the creature comforts you would desire, especially the full-service spa. We appreciated the extra touches in our room such as, champagne and sweet treats our first night; little tasty treats each evening; and slippers by our bedside. Our bedroom was comfortable and kept very clean—the room was fitted with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. We want to specifically recognize Joao Valente, our barman. He provided superb service; he was engaging and attentive to our requests. Also, Joao was very knowledgeable and would offer cocktail 🍹 recommendations based on our preferences, which we appreciated. We looked forward to stopping by the lounge every evening thanks to Joao; and we enjoyed the piano playing and DJ too. One of the best breakfast buffets we have eaten—so many options. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We hope to return one day!

Beautiful place. Breakfast was fresh, plenty of fruit, pastries, hot food, as well as a chef doing eggs to order. Our towels and robes in our rooms were old. But everything else was good.

My husband and I spent several days at the hotel and can only say wonderful things about the staff. I had injured my foot, actually fracturing a couple bones, and they brought me bags of ice several times, delivered room service when wanted and the dining room staff was great. The weather was rather windy and rainy while we were there so didn't go in the outside pools but they were beautiful. Excellent breakfasts as well.

Amazing oceanfront location—waking up to that view was breathtaking, and the sunrise was incredible. Super friendly staff and an easy walk to town. The hotel is beautiful, with great indoor and outdoor pools, a top-notch spa, and a delicious breakfast with lots of variety. Would definitely stay again!

Everything about this property was excellent. The front desk, wait staff in restaurant Manager of the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful. The view is fantastic . Restaurant in hotel was wonderful. Could not ask for anything better. Would highly recommend
