I loved the Dotonbori Hotel--the hospitality, the daily cultural activities (like kimono dressing), and incredible complimentary offerings like beer, ice cream, and noodles. The staff members are very nice, friendly, versatile, and have great customer service skills. I felt very welcomed into the hotel. During the Kimono Experience event, the staff members helped dress everyone up, complete with sandals and hairdo. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Loved this hotel! Great location and perfect for families. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The hotel had events daily in the lobby that the kids enjoyed. Also loved the free amenities like coffee in the morning and ice cream and alcohol in the afternoon.

Location is great and front of hotel is uniquely identifiable due to its quirky statues. On Dontonbori street and is surrounded by great shopping and dining options. Easy check in process with early check in available for us. Room had a musty smell we couldn’t get rid of. There was also a huge pillar in the center of our room (basic room) which took up so much usable space. Free drinks/alcohol and snacks available during set times. Also, cultural events daily.

Situated in the heart of Dotonbori, this hotel was great for my trip with my son. It felt a little less nice from a decor standpoint but the free drinks and snacks (including beer and ice cream) in the lobby were a nice touch (and the only hotel in Japan that offered this to us during our six night stay.). Staff was very friendly. Location was great for walking around, shopping and restaurants.
