Hotel in a great area for the French Concession area. A great base location to explore the area and metro only 10 mins walk away. Staff excellent, helpful and friendly. Bed comfort and the hotel is quiet. Would recommend.

Modern hotel with great staff. Rooms are quite compact and the advertised address is incorrect. The address advertised on hotels.com is for the donghu hotel not the donghu collection. The donghu hotel is a larger hotel in a historic Shanghai building with restaurants and other amenities. The donghu collection, which is at a different address lacks the charm and amenities of the donghu hotel. It was very confusing and disappointing but is hotels.com's fault for using the wrong address

I loved the neighborhood and the French Quarter, there are all kinds of cool, interesting restaurants, and coffee shops. I felt very safe at all times and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I would recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai.

Great location, lots of bars and restaurants just right outside! Clean and high tech rooms, amazing gym and pool! Front desk ladies are very friendly. Men at the front desk can learn from their female colleagues….
