I have been travelling around Asia for business for a long while, and I can say the staff here are the nicest I have ever had, so welcoming and helpful. Anna and all the team are truly amazing. The room was nice and clean, free water and fruit as well as everything you need, huge bath and separate shower. If I had to be critical, the mattress was a bit hard for me.

The customer service was excellent throughout our stay. We were warmly welcomed immediately as we walked in and made to feel at home straight away at check in. We had a lovely evening in the rooftop bar - special mention to Jessie who was fantastic and made us mocktails. Check out was also very smooth and the staff helped us with getting a cab to our next destination, helping us with directions and bags. Thank you so much Kelly, Asher, Tom, Jessie, Anna, Rin and Katie for making our stay so special.

You should try the Spa at this hotel. Small but beautiful and my family rated it is the best spa service that they ever had and we often stay at the high end resort while we travelled.

The hotel’s spa was excellent, with a relaxing atmosphere and great treatments. Its convenient location made it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops. I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and comfort, and I would gladly return.

So many ticks for this hotel. 1. Location - District 1 is the prime place for tourists, with the market across the road and Saigon Centre only 5 minute walk. A lot of day tours leave near the hotel 2. Staff - amazing friendly staff 3. Buffet breakfast - great inclusion, a wide range of foods 4. Infinity pool - nice view from rooftop pool, towels included 5. Rooms met expectations, with a fridge and 2 free bottles of water per day. Spacious shower. 6. Hotel also had a gym next to the day spa. 7. Security. Very safe hotel with door staff to greet guests.

Grand du Lac was an absolute standout and easily one of my favorite hotels during our time in Vietnam. The location is wonderfully central, putting you within easy reach of so many places; whether we felt like strolling there on foot or hopping in a quick Grab ride, everything just felt convenient. But what really made the stay special was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, they remembered us and greeted us each time we returned. They even reached out via WhatsApp to check if we needed anything, which was a thoughtful personal touch that made us feel truly looked after. If you’re looking for a hotel that nails both location and hospitality, Grand du Lac delivers on every front. We can’t wait to come back :)
