Seem not very safe around the metro station during night time, but there are lots of restaurants surrounding and a very vibrant area.

The location was great, very close to the subway system which made getting around Paris very easy. Many local cheaper places to eat and drink at rather than being closer to tourist areas that were much better to eat at.

We could hear when guests are talking beside our room. We can also hear when they are opening or closing the door.
