The ancient town is truly authentic, not a reconstruction, and as beautiful as a painting. Plus, it's not too crowded.

not bad - had a good overview of this old town. took a boat ride to the old town (not within). visited the mansion of a rich historical merchant. watched a nice theatre performance. had dinner at the guide-recommended restaurant and bought a painting at an -induced calligraphy shop. had short time for personal shopping within old town.
