Hotels a prop de Gurney Plaza

Hotel ambience & amenities were truly top notch and made our stay feel relaxing and memorable. However, the check-in process was quite slow. Prior to arrival, I had emailed regarding my room request for a garden access room as this was our celebration staycation, and the team did reply mentioning a cake arrangement too. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the arrangements discussed earlier were not there 🥲 The playroom helpers were incredibly attentive and caring towards my son. Huge kudos to Aunt Bella, Mariam, Zubaidah & Norliza for making Noah’s experience extra special — he truly enjoyed every activity provided and already wants to come back again with his little brother 🤍 Special thanks too to the friendly chef/kitchen crew we met at the lobby for recommending dinner spots to my father-in-law, as well as the pool and in-room service team for the warm hospitality. My son absolutely loved the reptile show too!

The location is right across from Komtar, which is very convenient. It's a 10-minute walk to the night market and the old town. The room facilities are complete, though they show a bit of wear and tear. Also, the pathway between the first-floor lobby and the rooms intersects with the driveway, so you need the staff to guide you on how to get there (if you call a Grab, the drivers all know to drive in and make a loop, so you can wait for the car at the lobby entrance).

A random weekend escape I never knew I needed. Polite and friendly staff. Room is well prepared and clean. The most comfortable bed i would say?? Overall experience; great!

I'm happy with overall stay of 4D3N here. Although its a 4-stars hotel but the location, cleaniness, hotel look & feel, hotel crews, all made me comfortable. I would make it as my favourite hotel for my next visit here again.

I recently stayed at St. Giles Wembley Penang and had a fantastic experience! 😊 The hotel's location is unbeatable, right across KOMTAR and a short walk to Penang's famous street food. The room was clean, comfy, and the view from the 20th floor was amazing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread at The Wembley Café was delicious too! Would definitely come back. 👍

Nice & beautiful hotel, stay in executive suite, very spacious and nice setup, love to stay in this hotel again in near future

I would stay with Fifth Avenue Hotel again if visiting Penang. We truly enjoyed our 4 night stay. It ticked all the boxes for us, close to attractions and restaurants, comfortable bed, nice room with a great view. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally presented with lots of great choices. The rooftop pool and bar was enjoyable as it is a nice space and we often we had the area to ourselves.

A pleasant experience at one of the oldest hotels in Malaysia. All the staff are professional and courteous. Location is convenient with close proximity to George Town historical district which adds to the charm of the property.

Hotel is in a good location as it is near to two shopping malls. Spacious and clean room with a great view. Staff was polite and welcoming. Highly recommended.
