Coses a fer a Lantau Peak

Recentment vam fer l'excursió turística al poble de pescadors de Tai O. Vam agafar un autobús des de la terminal d'autobusos de Tung Chung fins a Tai O, que va trigar uns 30-45 minuts. En arribar, va ser fàcil localitzar el moll d'embarcament, només calia buscar el rètol amb el logotip de Klook. Simplement vam escanejar el codi QR abans de pujar al vaixell. El trajecte en vaixell va durar uns 20 minuts i va oferir una bona vista de les cases de pescadors tradicionals construïdes sobre pilons, que són una de les vistes més icòniques de Tai O. Després, el vaixell es va endinsar més en les aigües a la recerca dels famosos dofins rosats, però malauradament, no en vam poder veure cap. Després de l'excursió en vaixell, vam passar una estona explorant el petit poble a peu. El poble té algunes petites botigues locals. Vam parar en una botiga per provar els absolutament deliciosos lioneses (donuts) i els vam acompanyar amb gelat. No us ho perdeu si hi aneu!

Price: Buying a package deal doesn't seem to save much money. The Lantau Island cable car trip was a bit different from what I expected, so I'd suggest that those with limited time might not need to go. The biggest advantage is saving time on queuing for tickets at the venue, which is excellent, for example, for the Lantau Island and Victoria Peak itineraries.

I loved this tour. Every part was a a joyful experience and my kids also really enjoyed it. THe tour guide was obnoxious and needed to be quiet though, 45m into his never ending talking I needed to talk to my husband across the isle of the bus and he told me off like a child telling me not to interrupt him (it was literally 45m into his never ending monologue). apart from this all of the "pit stops" were amazing.

The experience was amazing and memorable. I'm glad we booked for 2 consecutive days and we got to ride almost everything except for the Jungle Cruise due to maintenance problem. But what i like the most was family got the chance to find a perfect spot in front of the magical castle. i was able to film the whole 20-minute momentous moment. A once in a lifetime experience indeed.

Hi anem sota un sol radiant, feia bon temps. Hi anem amb cabina de vidre (Crystal Cabin). A la dreta hi ha més paisatge: l'aeroport, el pont gran... (en realitat des de l'avió es veu més clar, aquesta no puja prou). Però a l'esquerra, al final, es pot veure el Gran Buda i el monestir de Po Lin. A la cabina de vidre sembla que anessis dalt de l'aigua i del bosc. Després vaig descobrir que l'anunci de Ngong Ping 360 venia la cabina panoràmica. Crec que la cabina panoràmica dona més la sensació de "suspès a l'aire". En arribar a dalt encara hi havia la decoració del 20è aniversari, tot i que acabava d'acabar. Hi ha el Ngong Ping Ice House perquè puguis fer-te fotos. Dins de la cabina només hi ha petites finestres de ventilació, fa una mica de calor i xafogor. De tornada, a la cabina estàndard abans de la posta de sol de les 18:00 h, perquè era estiu i hi havia núvols que tapaven el sol. Es recomana dedicar-hi més temps, 5 hores o més si voleu pujar també al Gran Buda, a més de visitar el monestir de Po Lin. Aquell dia no hi vaig pujar, a més de falta de temps feia massa sol, i el temps aquell dia no es va ennuvolar fins a prop de les 5. Jo ja hi havia estat abans així que no hi vaig pujar, només que l'última vegada hi havia anat en autobús i només havia pujat al Gran Buda, sense visitar el monestir de Po Lin.

The cable car staff and guides were all very kind and made learning about and sightseeing Tai O Fishing Village and the Tian Tan Buddha enjoyable. I don't think I would have been able to visit Tai O Fishing Village on my own, nor would I have learned about its history. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning about Hong Kong's rich history. We took the cable car back after 4 PM, and it was very crowded, so you might want to consider a priority pass, such as the Crystal Cabin.

The workshop was excellent, and the instructor was very accommodating. After we made tofu pudding, the instructor also provided materials to make peanut mochi afterward! The instructor was very accommodating regarding food allergies. One of the participants in the workshop had a nut allergy, and the instructor quickly separated the materials to minimize contamination and offered red bean filling for the mochi to the person with the allergy. The instructor also asked for our water bottles to fill them with the leftover soy milk that wasn't used for making the tofu pudding. The instructor does not speak English, but we understand Cantonese.

Overall, the RV was great, and the air conditioning was sufficiently cold, though the shower water pressure was a bit low. The service was good, and the foreign staff explained everything clearly! We purchased the BBQ set, and the food quality was excellent; it was enough to fill up three people! For water activities, my child and I chose surfing. The foreign instructor was very good, and my child, who was surfing for the first time, was already able to stand on the board. The RV rental seems to be operated in conjunction with the beach store, so many extra items like mosquito coils, insect repellent, beach supplies, sodas, and snacks are available at reasonable prices. This means you don't have to carry so many things all the way there! 😆
