This was my first time staying at a hotel within the park. There were quite a few facilities available, some of which required an additional fee. Overall, the experience was great. After a full day of fun at the park, we could return to the hotel in the afternoon for a short rest before heading back to the park in the evening to catch the amazing performances. I would definitely visit again! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

There are many guests staying here, and there are also chartered tour buses. The location is good, with many businesses nearby, and the living facilities are quite good. The rooms are fairly clean, and the staff are very friendly. The only drawbacks are that the soundproofing isn't very good, and the sound of water running through the pipes is very loud.

The water dispenser in the room was out of order, but we could get water from the restaurant, so it was fine. A reminder to everyone that you can get ice cream and coffee at the restaurant in the evening. Some people might find the location a bit remote, but the highway is right next door, making inter-county travel very convenient, so it really depends on your perspective. Due to space constraints, there aren't many breakfast options, but it's still enough to fill you up. For a motel, it's much better than the choices at McDonald's or typical breakfast shops. The room was spacious enough, the revolving door design was cool, the stone-covered walls were also cool, and the floating toilet was cool too (in room type 222). The garage was large enough and easy to park in; even a hatchback wouldn't hit the ceiling.

The location is excellent, right next to Chaotian Temple, which is practically the busiest area in Beigang. There are many old shops to browse, see, and eat at. Parking is also free and you can even leave your car until after check-out, which is a huge plus. However, my room shared a main entrance with another room, so when someone rang the doorbell, it would also ring in my room. The lock on my room door was also very simple. It seems like this guesthouse was converted from an apartment. If this bothers you, I recommend booking the Pilgrimage Hotel instead of the Pilgrimage Guesthouse.

Recently, Klook reviews haven't been awarding Klook Cash, even when the rules are met.
Breakfast: Lots of options, large restaurant, but eggs were not provided one day.
Transportation convenience: Close to the train station.
Service: Front desk staff weren't very proactive in greeting guests. Several times I walked up to the counter, but no one offered assistance.

Our ride on the Taiwan High Speed Rail from Chiayi to Taipei was an excellent experience from start to finish. The train departed right on time, and the entire journey felt incredibly smooth and efficient.
The seats were clean, comfortable, and had plenty of legroom, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ride. We were especially impressed by how quiet and well-maintained everything was. The large windows gave us a nice view of Taiwan’s scenery as we sped north.
What really stood out was how fast and convenient the trip was—what would normally take hours by car felt quick and stress-free. The staff were also polite and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience.
Overall, it was a very comfortable, reliable, and enjoyable way to travel across Taiwan. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free journey!
