We did a slum tour of Ho Chi Minh City with Mallorie and Kay, and honestly it was one of the best tours we’ve ever done. It gave us a real insight into the different lifestyles and realities of Vietnamese people in a way that felt respectful, eye-opening, and genuine. Mallorie and Kay were thoughtful, informative, and so easy to talk to throughout the experience. They shared personal stories, local knowledge, and answered all our questions openly, which made the tour feel much more personal than a standard tourist experience. It was an experience that really stayed with us and gave us a deeper appreciation and understanding of Vietnam beyond the usual tourist spots. Highly recommend.

The tour was amazing! The guide and the drivers was caring, polite. we saw a lot of places hidden from the tourists sight, it was really interesting, Bean told us a lot about the slums and the people. thank you!

I really enjoyed this slum tour! Our guide, Hana, was amazing, very detailed and informative. I learned a lot of things during the tour, and it even reminded me of my previous home. I also liked that the group was small, which made the experience more personal and comfortable. And the banh mi was the best I’ve had! Highly recommended experience. 🙏✨

베트남 사람들 사는 모습 볼 수 있는 멋진 투어이긴 하다. 하지만 빈민가는 아니라고 한다. 현지인 친구에게 물어보니 배는 사람 사는 곳이 아닌 장사를 위해 있는거고 각자 집은 따로 있다고 했음.... 게다가 그렇게 가난해 보이지도 않음... 물론 중심가보단 못 사는 사람들인건 맞지만 굳이 투어를 하는 건 좀 아닌듯.. 그냥 개인적으로 찾아가서 보는 것도 좋은 방법.. 솔직히 여기 빈민가는 아님 그렇게 어렵게 사는 것도 아닌듯...

非常推薦預約這個行程。英文破爛也可以參加！導遊Vincent 非常溫暖、熱忱地介紹觀光景點之外的胡志明市（他在介紹的時候眼神都在發光、並且開發了很多特色主題的導覽活動）。透過Vincent分享的小故事，可以了解居民自力造屋在城市求生存的各種面向，充滿人情味和溫暖的社會關懷。最喜歡湄公河來的船屋（載著湄公河三角洲的椰子、水果等物產到城市販賣）；另外食物的部分包括船屋賣的椰子水、芝麻蝦餅、超在地85年歷史的咖啡店和好吃的法國麵包。沒有在地人帶領看不到，總而言之非常推薦。

Danny and Sophie took great care if us and it was good to see the city on a bike. We did the 8am trip and so it was nice and cool. Highly recommend this 3 to 4 hour visit.

tour前一天有用whatsapp與我聯絡，導遊Tom(Peter)一早很準時到飯店接我。一共導覽三個區域的Slum，他稱為Land, Water, Air，各有不同程度的困境，他對導覽的這幾區有很深入的理解，還有對社區裡的人做過採訪，相當熟。行程包含了一杯咖啡和Bún Bò麵。對於越南文化的其他提問，他也知無不答，讓我理解很多，相當棒的導遊，很推薦！

Very interesting Tour offside the main atteactions of HCM. We got an impressive how poor / normal people live. Great guide with a fantastic knowledge. I highly recomend this Tour

導遊是全英文的，因為本身稍微會簡單的英文，所以溝通還OK，行程裡帶我去一些真的就是平常旅行社不可能會去的地方，也讓我看到越南真正市井小民的生活，說真的，不會有想像中因治安導致個人危安的問題，真的是多慮了。像我經過某間住戶門口時一位阿媽邊晒衣服還邊向我問好，真的很有趣，另外還去地區內的小型超級市買了點東西，真的有夠便宜。總而言之，想體驗不一樣玩法的，強推!!

This morning I got up early and joined Bean for a  slum tour, and what an amazing experience it was. The tour ran for roughly 4 hours, and from the moment I was picked up we were off scooting around the city exploring places I never would have found on my own. Beans English is excellent, and his knowledge of Vietnamese culture, daily life, and local history was incredible. Every question I asked was answered with enthusiasm and insight. He was cheerful, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to spend the morning with. We stopped for coffee by the river before finishing with a delicious pho lunch, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Bean and his services to anyone wanting a unique and authentic experience. Definitely 10/10!
