Excursió a Silancur Highland, la cascada de Kedung Kayang i el temple de Borobudur des de Yogyakarta

Molt recomanable: Si teniu previst visitar la part superior de Borobudur, assegureu-vos de reservar les entrades per a l'estructura en línia AMB ANTELACIÓ, tan aviat com sigui possible. Això és perquè l'excursió d'un dia només inclou les entrades a la planta baixa. Un total de 1200 entrades per a l'estructura només es venen EN LÍNIA, i cada franja horària només permet 150 visitants. ———— Un viatge impressionant amb meravelles naturals i culturals. La sortida del sol a Sliancur és clara, bonica i tranquil·la, sense aglomeracions. Dempeus a l'altiplà, observem el cel canviant en diferents tonalitats, des de colors freds fins a càlids. La nostra següent parada és la cascada de Kedung Kayang, on també podem gaudir d'una vista clara del Merapi. El fotògraf d'allà és tan professional que capta perfectament tant la cascada com el volcà. (Paguem 5000 IDR per estar a l'observatori i 7500 IDR per fer fotos.) La nostra última parada és Borobudur. Amb les entrades per a l'estructura, tenim un guia privat que ens presenta la història del temple budista més gran del món. I a causa del nombre limitat de visitants per hora, apreciem plenament la pau que una religió pot aportar a la nostra ment. En resum, les meravelles naturals i culturals ens deixen sense alè. I el senyor Teguh, el nostre guia turístic considerat i humil, simplement està content perquè nosaltres estem contents.

The best experience in Yogyakarta. Unfortunately I could not see sunrise Silancur Highland, please be advised that it's too cold before sunrise. Any food excluded to the tour. however I enjoyed beautiful sceneries in Kedung Kayang Waterfall. The tour guide arranged plans and time in order to join a tour to enter the top part of the temple in Borobudur Temple. If you buy the ticket that is not included this tour, the guide will refund the additional cost.

A wonderful day spent in the company of Lingga, who is not only an excellent driver, but also easy to talk to. The sunrise is totally worth getting up so early for. Very few foreigners go there, but it's a magical place. The waterfall is very impressive in its lush landscape. This activity only allows you to walk around the temple, not climb it. You'll need to pay for an additional ticket, and what you've already paid for the temple tour is non-refundable. Rather than wasting money, it would be a good idea to offer this option, or to tell visitors directly to buy a ticket the day before and select what they want and the hour. I had to wait 2.5 hours to do the ascent, whereas if I'd taken the ticket the day before, the day could have been organized differently. I'd like to thank Lingga for his patience and the long hours on the road. I recommend this amazing trip !

I recently had the opportunity to embark on an incredible journey through Yogyakarta's Silancur Highland, Kedung Kayang Waterfall, and Borobudur Temple, and I must say it was a truly unforgettable experience. From the stunning natural landscapes to the awe-inspiring cultural heritage, this tour had it all. Let's start with Silancur Highland. This place is an absolute paradise for anyone looking to capture picture-perfect moments for their Instagram feed. Every corner seemed to offer a new and breathtaking photo spot, perfect for creating memories that will last a lifetime. The place is well-known to locals and not to foreigners, making this place a less-travelled spot if you want to escape from the tourist packed places. However, it's worth noting that the weather can get quite chilly up there, so it's advisable to bring a jacket or windbreaker to keep yourself warm and comfortable while you explore the area. Next on the itinerary was Kedung Kayang Waterfall and it was worth every step of the 1-kilometer trek to reach its base. The journey itself was an adventure surrounded by lush greenery and river crossings. It's recommended to bring sturdy sandals or slippers to ensure a comfortable and safe crossing. Last but not least, the tour took us to the world-renowned Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most iconic landmarks in Indonesia. The intricate carvings, the towering stupas, and the serene atmosphere all combined to create a sense of awe and wonder. Exploring the temple grounds and learning about its rich history from our knowledgeable guide was an enlightening experience. Overall, the Silancur Highland, Kedung Kayang Waterfall, and Borobudur Temple Tour provided an incredible mix of natural beauty and cultural heritage. Every moment was filled with joy and discovery. Our guide was very friendly. He offered to take photos for us and made us comfortable throughout the long day. The three spots that we were brought to were impressive. Although we did not manage to catch the sunrise at Silancur Highlands due to the fog, the view of the volcano after the fog cleared was impressive. The temperature up there was cooling as well. Kedung Kayang Waterfall is an instagrammable spot as well. The lush greenery and waterfall are very pretty backgrounds for any photos. It can be a bit challenging to get to the waterfall as the walk in the water can be slippery. We got there with the help of a local who was in the area. Not recommended for an elderly person to trek to the waterfall. My parents stayed up there to wait for us. Borobodur Temple was impressive. The temple grounds are so big that I need to find the shortest route so that my parents don't need to walk so much.

Tot el viatge va ser molt fluid, els llocs eren preciosos i hi havia prou temps. El conductor i guia turístic Hotma va oferir un servei excel·lent, recordant-nos proactivament el temps suggerit per a cada lloc, els punts per fer fotos i les coses a tenir en compte. Va ser molt atent i responsable. Ens vam sentir segurs durant tot el trajecte i vam gaudir d'un viatge relaxat. En general, és un itinerari que recomanaria als amics.

These kind of tours are highly recommended if you are tourist and currently in Yogakarta finding some new adventures. I also want to extend my appreciation to my driver Hotma for being so accomodating and kind throughout the trip. We shared some stories about our culture and it was really fascinating learning new things while travelling. Will surely go back to these places soon, especially Mt. Sumbing!
