The Ramayana show was spectacular and beautifully staged. Ticket collection and seating were quick and smooth. I loved the energy and storytelling, and the two-part format with a short intermission was a nice touch, giving time to stretch and refresh. The second half felt a bit brief, so dividing the acts more evenly might make the pacing even better. The music, costumes, and dance were captivating from start to finish, and the setting with Prambanan in the background created a magical atmosphere. At the end, I enjoyed the chance to take photos with some of the talented performers. Overall, an engaging and memorable cultural performance that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Yogyakarta.

Interesting show that is must see when you are in Yogyakarta. Prambanan as back drop really elevated the show to the next level. English captions are available as well.

Il balletto è stato interessante e c’erano degli schermi che spiegavano prima in Indonesiano e poi in inglese quanto stava accadendo nella storia. Il nostro spettacolo è durato circa un’ora e mezza: prima un’ora, poi un quarto d’ora di pausa, e poi l’ultimo quarto d’ora di spettacolo. Ci sono dei baracchini per comprarsi qualcosa da sgranocchiare fuori dal teatro durante la pausa. PS. con il voucher, potete andare nella fila dei VIP e vi danno i biglietti senza dover fare file più lunghe!

the qr code ticket provided by klook was easy to exchange for physical ticket at the venue. smooth process. the Ramayan Ballet was very enjoyable. we just wished that it would be better if the characters don't break their role. Ramayan is a serious story so the comic angle, while engaging with the audience, was a led down for us.

We arrived to an amazing team of staff who guided us to the venue. We were even given vouchers to claim either coffee and cold drinks. The performance was amazing with English subtitles projected on the screen so you can follow the play. It was truly a culturally enrich experience.

前にプラウィサタ劇場の方でラーマーヤナ舞踊を見たことがあるので、プラン・バラン寺院を見に行ったついでに敷地内にあるこちらを見に行ってきました。
劇自体はどちらも同じラーマーヤナのストーリーに沿った感じですが、プラウィサタ劇場に比べ落ち着いた感じでした。
まぁ、あちらの方はアクロバットな派手なパフォーマンスが売りだからのもありますが。
あと劇の終わりジョグジャカルタ市内に戻る時、シャトルバスが出ているみたいなのですが私は見つけられず、GRUB(バイク)に乗って帰りました。
