대나무 그림 원데이 클래스 수강했어요! 홍콩에서 한 경험중에서 최고 중에 하나였어요! 공간도 너무 따뜻하고 예쁘구요! 붓과 먹으로 그림을 그리는 것도 너무 재밌었어요! 선생님께서 중국 회화 특징에 대해서도 잘 설명해주셔서 유익했습니다! 현란한 도시의 소음에서 짐시 벗어나 마음이 차분해지는 시간 적극 추천합니다! (따뜻한 중국식 차도 제공됩니다!🍵 혼자가도 충분히 즐길 수 있어요!🤗)

Carole starts the workshop with a great introduction about the history of Chinese painting. She explains the differences between Western and Chinese art, the types of rice paper, ink, colours and brushes. It was really informative and interesting. She gives a clear step-by-step demonstration. First, you get time to practice on A4 paper. Then, you try out three different types of rice paper. At the end, you work on your final piece using a full sheet of rice paper. Carole guides you through every step. And last but not least, you finish your artwork by stamping it with a traditional Chinese seal. Carole speaks fluent Cantonese and English. Her voice is so pleasant to listen and she explains everything with a lot patience. I highly recommend this workshop!

Enjoyed the experience! Carole gave a great introduction about Chinese painting, the difference from western style, the materials used, even the paper. And she was very hands on, would check on you to see how youre doing with the practice sessions every step of the way. The tea was also good. Would love to do other classes offered if i had more time.

Highly recommend! It was my first time learning Chinese painting and the teacher taught very well with much patience. The studio was lovely with very nice vibe and cosy set up, they even served Chinese tea during class. lt was very fun as an introductory class and I enjoyed doing Chinese painting a lot. Definitely coming back!

The instructor was very knowledgeable about the history and intracacies of Chinese ink painting! I learned a lot not only through the art of ink painting itself, but also the history behind how certain methods of painting came to be. I would definitely come back for a more advanced lesson if I get the chance! This was such a calming and medidative experience please check her out if you can!

It was a great experience learning about calligraphy painting. The 2hrs flew by and I have developed a greater appreciation and understanding of chinese calligraphy painting. Carole was patient and super helpful in teaching us the different elements that would lead to us completing a bamboo painting. I would highly recommend this one-off class if you're passing by HK. I am very jealous of those that are able to attend her regular glasses.

Very enjoyable experience. Carole the teacher was super patience n nice. Environment was clean n pleasant. Despite the 2 of us were pretty hopeless in terms of art, under her guidance, we managed to finish our first Chinese painting of bamboo. Really enjoyable experience. Carole is an artist who quit her iBanker job to become a full time artist. I always admire people who work hard to pursuit their dream!! Even beginner with no experience can enjoy Chinese painting. Recommended!

This class was so much fun! Carole was a great teacher and created a welcoming environment for us to learn how to paint. I would definitely recommend this class to those who are interested in traditional Chinese painting.
