Què pots esperar
Baixeu en bicicleta de muntanya des de la cresta de Kakani, de 2.732 m d'alçada. Recorreu el Parc Nacional de Shivapuri Nagarjun, llar del subministrament d'aigua de la vall i de més de 170 espècies alades i orquídies rares. El bosc es troba entre els últims boscos de Katmandú. Des d'allà visitareu Budhanilkantha, una zona fora de les rutes turístiques i reservada per als devots del budisme i l'hinduisme. Vegeu l'estàtua reclinada de pedra negra de Vishnu, que descansa sobre les bobines d'Ananta, el déu serp d'11 caps, a qui podríeu albirar de camí a la ciutat de Katmandú. És un viatge d'un dia que comença a la part superior, enviant-vos a una emocionant aventura en bicicleta des del camp fins a la ciutat.

Change of route from Kakani to Nargarkot due to road work. Nargarkot is impressive and worth visiting.
Exhausting but so much fun! You get to see life in the village highlands and traversing the hills on a mountain bike. My guide Banja is very accommodating, and guided me throughout the biking experience. I had a great great time!
Very friendly and professional mountain bike instructor. Bike journey was sufficiently challenging yet the instructor adjusted the journey accordingly to ensure I could meet the physical demands of the trip. Will definitely try again next time. Thank you.
Myself and my husband had our trip of a lifetime with HST. The most amasing company. Incredibly flexible, professional, friendly. We had some problems whilst away, with Rob getting food poisoning, whilst we were up the moutain. Satosh bent over backwards to make sure rob got safely off the mountain. Jenny is ultra organised, and brilliant with customers needs... We didnt know exactly what we wanted to do, as we had never been to Asia before. We prearranged the first week, and Jenny supported us to fit other trips in as we went along. The lads working for them were lovely...playful, hardworking and friendly. The HST teams passion for leading the way in mountain biking in Nepal comes through, despite the challenges they face with getting resources out there. Totally different to riding in the uk. Such an awe inspiring experience. Would definately reccomend these guys 100 times over. If you go to Nepal, use HST!!!!
I did the one day Kakani downhill ride. The van took us close to the top of the mt, then we rode a mixture of single tracks (one aptly named "Scar Road") and some fast paced roads down all the way back to Thamel via great views of the valley. (Don't look whilst riding tho- might be the last thing you remember doing!) The guys were great- professional but with a great sense of humour, and gave me tips on how to improve my riding technique. Will definitely return :)
The weather was horrible but our amazing guide was taking good care of us and the trekking was still amazing!
