Excursió privada a la cascada de Sekumpul i la Porta del Cel a Bali amb dinar

El temps no va ser bo durant el dia del nostre tour, però malgrat això, vam gaudir de l'experiència. Va ser un viatge bastant llarg des d'Ubud, unes 3 hores. Estava plovent quan vam arribar a l'aparcament i no va parar durant tota la caminada. Pot ser frustrant per a alguns visitants, però nosaltres vam gaudir-ne igualment i vam fer que el nostre viatge fos inoblidable. Primer vam arribar a la cascada de Fiji i després a la de Sekumpul. A causa del mal temps, el corrent era bastant fort i per això no vam tenir l'oportunitat de quedar-nos gaire temps ni de nedar. Però ambdues cascades eren boniques i impressionants. Ens encantaria tornar-hi i esperem que amb un temps millor. Hi havia salts de penya-segat, però els vam saltar perquè el corrent era fort. No obstant això, vam provar el tobogan d'aigua, que ens va agradar molt. Gràcies a Dodi, el nostre guia turístic tranquil i divertit. Al llarg del camí també hi ha les boniques terrasses d'arròs de Fiji. Després de la caminada, ens van servir un dinar senzill però deliciós preparat per una família local que residia en aquella zona. Després de les cascades, vam anar a Wiwanda Agro per a la recollida il·limitada de maduixes. A part d'això, ens van servir suc de maduixa fresc. Vam saltar la Porta de Handara perquè estàvem molt cansats. En canvi, vam anar a un warung local per sopar, que ens va recomanar el nostre amable conductor Jhony. També vam fer algunes parades curtes pel camí. De fet, el nord de Bali és un lloc molt bonic. Una visita obligada quan viatgeu a Bali.

The main part of the trip is the waterfall tour and it does not disappoint, it’s also nice to try both the natural slide (although safety gear is a must with those rapids and rocks) and jumping into the pool. The waterfalls (Fiji and Sekumpul) are spectacular. The choice of lunch was good and the restaurant owners were very kind. The strawberry farm is a quaint experience, and a nice little extra. The Gate of Heaven allows for some spectacular photos, but you have to wait a while after being given a number in the queue. My waterfall guide Gudi and my driver Jhony were both absolutely fantastic.

what a wonderful tour, we were picked up by our driver Joni who spoke great English and explained everything we saw along the way. Once we arrived at our first destination we needed to track across the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen with our guide Ari. Overall this is a must experience.

This is the best tour we had so far. We enjoyed it a lot. The local driver Kadek took us to Sekumpul drop off site. Dodi who was our local guide took us to Sekumpul Waterfalls. He took great photos for us too! The falls are amazing and the water is so cold and refreshing. We did the water slide as well and it was such an experience. Thanks a lot for a memorable tour.

Thank you Agung for a wonderful and well curated/tailored tour of the Sekumpul and Fiji waterfall area. Out of all the options available to view the Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls, I feel extremely lucky that I ended up on a tour that was planned with authenticity and social responsibility in mind. My private tour for 2 was led by Bayu, a friendly and attentive village local, who guided us through the neighbouring paddy fields/plantations as well as the waterfalls. Instead of getting the standard package tour, I got a unique off-the-beaten track view of the surrounding area and a small insight into the way life of local villagers, which made the experience that little bit more real for me. I was also able to experience the non-obligatory water slide and cliff jump. The tour ended with a home cooked meal before a motor bike ride back up the meandering hillsides to the pick up point, which was especially fun! Eddy & Dody were amazing hosts. Eddy picked us up promptly and went through the itinerary for the day. We started with the strawberry farm where we had fresh strawberries and juice then went to the waterfall where we met Dody. He then went through the plans with us and looked after us. The waterfall was amazing and so was the private lunch. There is also a rice terrace there. We then made our to the temple. The whole day was fantastic, I would recommend this tour if you want a scenic day.

An amazing day with the locals,strawberry picking, trekking to the waterfalls, rice paddles and finishing with lunch at the natural water slide. be warned- there are a lot of stairs.
