The museum is so vast that I genuinely believe you need a full day to properly explore it. The collection is awe-inspiring, and the stories, history, and significance behind each artifact are truly remarkable. Our guide for the day was 高老師，who was exceptionally knowledgeable and well-prepared. Despite the overwhelming crowds, he did his best to show us as many highlights as possible and provided insightful explanations throughout the tour. Had it not been so crowded, the experience would have been even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend 高老師 to anyone visiting the museum.

our tour guide mr guo was very professional, shared tons of interesting background stories of different exhibits. the day we were there the national museum is very crowded. took us 50 minutes to get inside. so do arrive early. the site is huge the tour itself was hurried. it was a small challenge to stick with the guide with all the people. the tour organizer uses only WeChat without Whatsapp made the initial sync up with them a bit of a headache

Highly recommended! Request Jack if you can! We had an amazing experience exploring the National Museum of China with Jack as our guide. He is incredibly genuine, passionate, and patient, ensuring the tour never felt rushed. Jack’s command of English is exceptional—very clear and easy to understand—which allowed us to fully appreciate and learn about the museum's extensive collection and historical relics. Given the massive scale of the museum and the hundreds of items on display, having a knowledgeable guide is absolutely essential. Jack helped us navigate the space efficiently, ensuring we focused on the most iconic and important masterpieces without getting overwhelmed. His excellent service started a day before the tour when he reached out via email with clear, helpful directions. He also concluded our tour beautifully with a meaningful takeaway message. If you are debating whether to book a guide, do it—and definitely ask for Jack!

Jack is splendid in his explanation on the 5000 years of history on China. He was both passionate and patient in answering my questions and I Had a very enjoyable time with him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is keen to learn more on Chinese history. no regrets, best guide ever!
